Hopefully you folks will stick to that promise to be more communicative with the community. You really shoot yourselves in the foot when you go radio silent for months then come back with a Q&A that doesn't really tell us much more than what we already knew or assumed. Use that reddit post about troubles with vehicle physics as an example for what this sort of thing should look like. Explain the fine details of what is holding things back or why things aren't working like they might be expected to. When the explanation for why things aren't going to plan is a simple "it was harder than we thought and will take more time than planned", after the first few times its said it starts to look like excuses to a lot of folks and does more harm than good. I'd expect that the time taken to explain fine details of current development would be well worth the effort.

So what is your actual plan and true method to "increase communication"? From your 2021 in review post: As 2021 closes we are proud that we have begun to improve communication between you the players, and us the developers of Squad. In 2022 we hope to continue that improvement

What have you guys even done? A Q&A is not a major thing to ask. It's not some gigantic feat, although it sure feels like it considering how dark things have been in the past. This is bare minimum stuff, especially considering the ambitious roadmap drop conveniently timed around 1.0 release.

    What do you mean "hope?"

There isn't some magical formula that you need to discover to increase communication. I'm half-tempted to go through every single reddit, forum, and discord post that has ever promised "increased communication" just so you guys can see how little this phrase means at this point. Discord is a terrible way to disseminate information, and you already know that, so why is that these things take so long?

I don't want promised dates and time frames, even though some people might. Your roadmap is nearly one year out of date, with the trello last being touched 2 months ago. What is the holdup? Why don't you guys clarify your statement about "winter of 2022 for 3.0" as meaning "early 2022" and not december 2022? People freaked out over that because of a poorly worded sentence that, as far as I can tell, was never clarified in an official capacity on the forums or your site, you know, the place where things are easily accessible and catalogued. Why don't you guys allay fears about marines and such by stating that private playtesting has been ongoing for at least 1-2 months now - as seen on the public playtest environment where half-full lobbies on USMC maps/black coast were being run semi regularly. Is it too much to ask for regular minor leaks? Weapon models, character models, map sneak-peeks, etc? There's so much stuff that you guys could push out in minor increments to actually back your words up.

I think you guys seriously need to stop thinking and promising and just start doing. The more you communicate in a timely and regular fashion the more these vague statements actually mean.
