No Forward Spawn on Goose Bay CAF Invasion v1?

I recently played a match on this layer as the defenders and was surprised to find that there wasn't a forward spawn with a logistics truck towards the first point. Driving from main to the first defense objective barely left us any time before the staging phase was complete. This effectively led to the defending team scrambling to defend as the enemy's armor showed up. Was this intended? Has anyone else had the same experience? Or was this just a one off event?

    OWI catering to new/bad players who can't make it onto the first point in invasion.

    Half of it was because new/bad players can't play with asset advantage of attacking side, half of it was putting RUS on attack against almost every other faction that has superior weaponry/vehicles; that particular layer is mostly the latter half.

    OWI's solution is the shittiest/laziest one: "let's just make first point easier to take to make attacking side feel better" instead of "let's properly balance the game and give new/bad players a chance to actually learn how to attack, maybe even learn to play armor(considering the massive surplus on the likes of basrah inv v1/v2)."

    Then again you could consider it smart because owi knows they're just trying to make up for player loss with new players led by the nose from streamers(guess why Shroud's playing squad again recently). It's part of the slow death of squad that neither you nor owi can do anything about.
