Hello Folks,

with the recent re-launch of the forum and things still being very vanilla (pun intended), people might run into issues or visual glitches with the forum. The point of this thread is to list the issues so that they can be tackled as the forum ripens.

So if you have any issues with the forum, please add the fill this information:

Browser: Placeholder

Operating System(Windows, Linux, Android, IOS, etc.): Placeholder

Mobile or desktop?: Example

Description: Placeholder

Screenshots?: Placeholder

Please try to specify the steps to re-create the issue and what you were initially trying to achieve, before you ran into the issue.

See you on the battlefield!

    Mobile or desktop?: Desktop

Description: When adding a link to a new discussion, the link is invisible within the editor when the mouse is not hovering over it, because the link is colored white. The CSS property that needs to be changed can be seen in the screenshot below.

Here is what it looks like when I change the CSS rule to red.

Description: I can't expand the preview of a linked thread that is embedded in a post in Firefox. When clicking the little arrow that is looking downward or upward, it only flips but the post does not expand and show more, simply nothing happens.

When you follow a category, the button to follow/unfollow categories disappears unless you roll over it. I made an image to showcase this but I can't post it unfortunately.

Even if this isn't a bug, I would maybe suggest always showing the button, because it could cause confusion if people followed a category and later couldn't figure out how to unfollow it because the button isn't visible

After a little research, apparently Firefox "privacy.resistFingerprinting" setting also breaks this function due to something being blocked. That's why it still doesn't work for me on my regular setup, unless that setting is turned off.

Description: For some reason in a thread I was posting in, one of my posts was duplicated and reposted long after the original post. Here is the link to the thread: https://forums.joinsquad.com/discussion/111/tool-tip-for-fireteam-leaders-and-fortifications

I seem to remember having to press "post comment" button a few times before it finally posted but I would have expected the duplicate post to pop up immediately after the first rather than after a period of time. According to the timestamp, the duplicate post was posted on the 3rd of May where the original post was on the 30th of April.
