Itching for something cerebral, and after not really vibeing with hell let loose, thought "hey might be fun to get back into Squad."

I see a picture of a tank. That looks fancy.

What am I in for? 40 hours of, "hey squad lead, what class (does no one else want to do) do you want me to do this match?" which worked the first time around.

How is the health of the community? Is it more or less populated than it was way back when?

    You're looking for Project Reality, not Squad.

    More populated, but sadly, mostly with players of really bad quality. Need to find a good server. I recommend Riplomacy or any other invasion only server. AAS/RAAS is a shitshow and invasion is what works best right now.

    its great man, the top servers usually have a big queue tho, so you just have to wait like 15min to get in.

    The devs added a lot of useful stuff, like tanks, new factions, new vehicles, new lighting, gameplay improvements etc.

    The community seems really good to me. there are a lot of experienced players but its always with some fun banter along the way. You just have to join a squad thats named something like "INF ENG MIC NO SNIPER" and not just "BRAVO" thats how you know the squad leader is legit ;)
