M3 MAAWS Smoke Reticle Too Small

The M3 MAAWS Smoke reticle is extremely small compared to the same weapon, M3 MAAWS, loaded with tandem or HE ammunition. With the reticle being too small it makes using the weapon a challenge to use consistently without confusion or doubt of the reticle's information. I suggest that the M3 MAAWS Smoke reticle be changed to become the same size M3 MAAWS Tandem.

Nope, this is normal because the range marks are accurate for the faster-flying smoke/HEAT rounds.
If that is the reasoning that still does not change the difficulty of the clarity because of its small size, in my opinion. Thanks for the explanation.
If your target is big enough to cover multiple lines then just point-and-click.
Maybe you need to render at higher resolution, it's plenty visible at 1440p.
Open his pictures if you haven't already, the reticle itself is scaled down by a huge amount when using smoke.
I did.
Looks pretty clear to me.
Not the clarity of it. The actual size. The reticle itself is smaller in height and width. By a really big amount.
I did a little looking around and found the manual for the weapon: https://armypubs.army.mil/epubs/DR_pubs/DR_a/pdf/web/ARN18072_TC%203-22x84%20FINAL%20WEB.pdf
On page 46 it talks about the telescopic sight. It makes me wonder if the optic is correct at all in-game. From what the manual leads me to believe, there ought not be any elevation marks in the scope. If that is true then you shouldn't have separate sights for each round and rather one that is adjusted.
I hate when the developers deviate from real systems, especially ones that are as simple as this. There is no reason why we shouldn't have the single sight that is adjusted with the x + scroll.
Different rounds have different velocities. An additional factor inherent to the m3's optic is the temperature setting. If you wanna get really realistic with it, then on cold maps you'll have to:1. Select round type. 2. Line up the distance with the correct ambient temperature
That's the point, it's a much faster flying round that obviously needs "adjustment."
OWI is just being lazy so it's shrinked.
