Stuck standing after getting shot while going into croucha and taking out shovel

Played as engineer trying to place mines. When I switched from the last mine to shovel and going into crouch, starting shoveling I got shot and was afterwards stuck in standing mode, where the character stood up automatically every time I tried to go prone. The issue starts at 4:15.
