SLs, will you be kicking players who display paid content to protest microtransactions?

in General
I've seen this idea floating around on on reddit, discord, and a lot of the regular SLs on the main server I play on are talking about doing this. The idea is that since squad leads can kick for any reason, they can use social pressure to make paid content less desirable, thereby driving down revenue and forcing OWI to abandon the idea. I'm not sure I agree with it, but I can understand why some SLs would do it. What do you think? I know that I would think twice about buying emotes if it cost me a spot in a competent SL's squad.

Why would you punish other players for something that doesn't effect you or the squad's performance? If SLs are planning on doing this, that is ridiculous.
I will happily take SL and then seek out the peeps that were kicked from the other squads for supporting the costs associated with releasing updates. And then we can all stand there and shame the other SL in unison with our gestures.
It sounds to me like putting you guys in your own box is kinda the point though. Also, given that statistically freemium games are supported by like 10% of players, it would be a small box.
no why?
