Multiplayer issues

Evening! I bought the game 5 hours ago and I have SEVERE multiplayer problems. Whenever I try to join a server I constantly get "Authentication error 1/2" or "Authentication error 2/2" and when I actually join the game the packet loss gets stuck between 10-20% although my internet connection is perfectly fine. What can I possibly do about this? I am quite disappointed with my experience so far and would like some help. I can not refund the game either as I've spent 5 hours in it.

    I guess the issue is 50% resolved, although I can not use an ethernet cable at the moment.
