Drivers crash, then the game closes.

So first time I run the game it crashed before it got to the menu, it said "Video driver crashed and was reset!  Make sure your video drivers are up to date.  Exiting..." So I check my drivers for an update and there up to date, I launch the game again, get to the menu, try to join a friend, and the game crashes again, I do this about 2 more times, same thing, I try loading into training, that works sometimes but it crashes when I try to join a game when it does work.

I run a pretty low end laptop with Intel integrated family HD graphics, with a i-3 and 6 gigs of ram.

I also looked through the crash logs and saw a reoccurring problem right before the game crashes.

[2015.12.16-03.46.02:761][468]LogD3D11RHI:Error: Direct3DDevice->CreateBuffer(&Desc, NULL, UniformBufferResource.GetInitReference()) failed
 at D:\UE4\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11UniformBuffer.cpp:159
 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

So I checked if my Direct3D was enabled and it is, not sure what to do.

Here is some extra lines from the crash logs.

I dont think your laptop can handle this, that is probably why it is crashing

I don't understand why I wouldn't, I can run games like ARMA 3, GTA V and Killing floor 2.

Check your run time, see if it is installed correctly, see if there is an update, check windows update. what is the OS you are using?

So it have ass worked, I got into a training server with 2 people for about 3 seconds then my driver crashed again, everything is up to date, I have the service pack 1 installed, not much else to do. Question: Will I be able to play when the optimization patch comes out?

So you have no dedicated graphics card on that notebook?

Dont think UE4 runs well on intel integrated gpu's atm, maybe try it later.

I will say mostly not, you are running integrated graphics card, its not great. It wont work well. Build a custom pc.

Update your windows drivers and GPU drivers.

Looks like I have the same issue?

Direct3DDevice->CreateBuffer(&Desc,pInitData,VertexBufferResource.GetInitReference()) failed  at D:\UE4\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RHI\Private\D3D11VertexBuffer.cpp:75  with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

I7 860, 16gb Ram, GTX 560Ti all at stock speeds. All drivers up to date as far as I can tell.

http://forums.joinsquad.com/topic/8564-two-solutions-for-c-error/ or

 have a problem with the program who care about the update. So i Download this : WindowsupDateAgent 7.6

Then, the possibilty to upgrade windows 7 come back normaly and I had +100 updates to do. Then, when all the downloads were made, I downloaded : Visual C++ 2015

I installed only the x64 but you can install the x86 too ( only if you have a x64 processor). If you have a x32 processor, you have to install only the x86.

I'm having the same error here. Squad crashes both the game and my video card with the error dialogue mentioned in the OP then I am unable to reopen Squad, or any other game until I reboot my system.

Same error code as these guys everytime in the logs.

I'm running an i5-6600k @ 4.3Ghz, 780ti (Factory OC model), 16GB DDR4 RAM, Windows 8.1 and the game runs perfectly smoothly at 1080/60fps when it's not crashing.

 I've tried both the current Nvidia drivers and rolled back to the previous ones with a "clean install" using DDU. My windows is fully updated and a relatively recent install itself. I haven't had the issue with any other games or any other problems.

For what it's worth, the location mentioned in the error doesn't make a lot of sense as my D:\ drive is my optical drive.
