check the temps of your 3570, I've had my running at 100° and throttling so i was capped at 35~ fps because of it, went 60-70 after fixing cooler

My PC did have an issue recently where it would shut down without warning whilst playing Squad... I stripped the PC and re-pasted the CPU, since then it's not done it again.

I have a SFF PC that I built but I am restricted with space so limited to the size of the cooler. I am currently using a Noctua NH L9i.

Is there a piece of software that can monitor and record the temp whilst I am playing Squad? Or does windows 10 have something already?

FPS: 20 lowest - 60 highest
CPU: AMD FX-9370 8 core 3.8ghz
GPU: R9 290x 4gb
RAM: 16GB ram
Res: 1080p
Settings: Epic (or low, doesn't change anything)

FPS highly dependent on amount of players in a server, anything above 60 players is almost unbearable i get 25-30fps if not lower.

I'm playing on a 5k iMac. Just got it last week. Running right around 60 fps epic settings. Medium resolution. I'll do some more precise testing. At higher Res and post back in the next day or 2.

Computer is i5. 16gb ram, R9 395.

Ordered the Zotac gtx980ti amp extrem edition and a new gamer laptop, will post the result soon.

By the way is the gtx980m with 8gb of VRAM equivalent to a Gtx 960?

980m 8gb is a waste. To much memory for that kind of slow cards.

Dont think so, my ex gtx 970 Vram is maxed out in squad and Xplane 10, thus redu cinq my FPS. With 8gb im sure not to be Vram limited

Yeah, the GTX 970 only have 3.5Gb vram. Many peps have problem with that. Nvidia and the box say there is 4gb on the 970 but it only have 3.5Gb vram. As I said before. 8Gb on a slow card = no use.

Msi afterburner sans that my Vram was 3999-4026 Mb though.

Not usekess as i would be able to Play on epic without being Vram limited

But with a m gpu you will only be able to play @ 720p to hit the EPIC settings?

With 720p you will not reach so much high vram usage.

No I'll play on the epic even if I only have 30-40 FPS. I also have Gsync

Ok then I see. ;)  I also want a G-Sync :p

But it's still too much vram for the card to handle. :p :)
