Take your time, play the strategical tactical game, most of the moron player base is gonna rush into shit, use this to your advantage, gonna peak around a corner? Aim down sight, before you hit ANY corner, especially if you don't know what awaits you on the other side, move slowly around that corner aiming down sight and leaning, will give you great advantages.

Due to current state of players,

Please use the firing range to learn the basic of vehicles, how to: hop into it, switch on engine, use of brakes, switch of engine, swap seats, use zoom on BTR.

check wiki for repair station use and same goes for logi truck, how to drop supplies and resupply.

Also, some vehicles get stuck on simple objects, especially the BTR, other vehicles can push vehicles unstuck but that might backfire and Several vehicles get stuck in the same spot.

Never forget to call the exact direction where the enemy fire comes from. This is the most helpful squad option in the game. Provide extra info if you have it : range, any buildings, or objects around the enemy, where the enemy is headed to, etc.

Squad - For new people

First off, watch tutorials, read wiki and subscribe to popular YouTube channels of people who play this game. Here is a practical list that can help new players get comfortable in-game.

1.) Use the local firing range and test all kits, vehicles and familiarize yourself with the map. Practice hitting targets at various ranges (Auto/Single fire).
2.) After learning base mechanics join a server firing range that is populated with a few people. Practice applying bandages and healing players with medic kit, building things, using cover and locating/killing enemies.
3.) Join a game/squad using the plain rifleman kit. Follow the squad around, watch and listen. Let your squad know you are learning. Don't ask questions about basic fundamentals during a game. Keep mic communication minimal unless you are sure you can provide useful intel. Check the map before engaging an enemy vehicle or telling your squad about it, it may be friendly. Know the uniforms of the factions.
4.) Call out compass bearings over local to those next to you, otherwise call out on squad channel the general direction like N/NW for example and if possible additional information such as structures or unique environmental features. Example: "NW, 100 meters, Multiple Infantry moving left to right""
5.) Be a passenger not a driver until you have acquired enough experience.
6.) When asked, be the volunteer to cap the first point when playing AAS game mode. It will be appreciated.
7.) Don't assume the best class to use for beginners is medic. Its not, because you will die often and not be able to revive your team mates.
8.) When first playing never put your squad in a situation where they need to rely on you for something. You are not reliable yet.
9.) Always assume other players are more knowledgeable than yourself, be modest and humble.

First and foremost get to grips with the firing range and read all the signs there, and test your keybindings etc.

When in-game find a suitable squad to form. Don't go near becoming a Squad Leader so soon, as becoming an effective SL takes some experience and know-how to make it work most efficiently. The main tip for a new player would be to listen and follow your Squad Leader, and don't be afraid to ask any questions in-game. Another major tip is to communicate with a microphone, not only would this improve the teams chance to be successful, it makes for a far superior experience.
