Pre Alpha Week 5 (Version 6.0)
Spawns and merely flesh wound decals
Commander, Ranger and Airborne level Kickstarter Backers can Pre-Load CPA-v6 at prealpha.joinsquad.com
 
This is first and foremost a bugfix build, some additions to the maps and environments, and there are some temporary stopgap measures for spawn mechanics, and as usual some new features thrown into the mix.
 
Closed Pre-Alpha version 6

  • Added more logic to FOB and RallyPoint placement
  • FIREBASE: SQUAD LEADER PLUS TWO TEAM MATES REQUIRED TO PLACE
  • RALLYPOINT: SQUAD LEADER PLUS ONE SQUAD MATE REQUIRED TO PLACE
  • Increased spawn time on fobs to 15s, up from 10s, they are now half of the spawntime of a rallypoint spawn.
  • Firebase spawning now stops when 2 or more enemy soldiers are in cap radius or the fob is 75% captured. Clear out the fob and spawning resumes.

* Bugfix for audio components in SquadWeapon.
* Improved hit detection.  
* Fixed both shell casing collision bug that made it float on surfaces and Wood bullet hit rotating decal.
* Prevented full auto looping nodes from playing continuously in some circumstances.
* [Maps] Updated south river of Kohat and increased cul distance on river trees
* Modified dirt_gravel bhit sounds (plays on afghan mud walls)
* Made a seperate material for the plastic water can wich now has plastic physmat assigned.
* Added ceramic tile bhit sounds assigned to pot materials 
* Increased sprint footstep sounds
* Fixed volume too low for weapon fire in classes.
* Assigned plastic hollow bhit sounds.
* Changed the AK74 fire sounds to sound more like the previous fire sounds.
* Added flesh wound decals to BP_Soldier. Deleted duplicated decal pack files.
* Allowed audio at half-volume when outside of the game window.

Yeah, they still dont work 100 % since sometimes they dont display but its the start of something very cool which is seeing where you hit people :)
