Helis on invasion

When it comes to regular vs irregular matches, helos give way too much logistical advantage to the attacking side in invasion game modes. If all the objectives are visible right from the start, every capture point can have enemy FOBs surrounding it. The defenders don't really have the manpower to go FOB hunting behind their own lines.

 

Suggestion: the only visible objective for the attacking side on invasion should be the one they are currently attacking.

Agreed. Random Invasion would complement RAAS nicely.

Actually, this is also the case with regular v regular matches. Helis make it too easy to place FOBs all over the map.

This might be something that we'll have to wait a bit for. Over time the player base should change their play style to counter this, though I wouldn't be apposed to not being able to build fobs off helicopters. If they could only ferry supplies around the map, they might be a little less game changing.

I doubt anyone would just go around the backline, hunting FOBs. They are needed on the front. Maybe helis could do a few scout runs, but they are also needed. This is not Foxhole.

The only thing I really want is.............show next point when capping.  That would fix multiple issues.

 

Let's say it's A, B, C, D, E are the points.

 

If you're fighting over C, it should show where B and D are.  Let's say the enemy gets C, and starts attacking D............it should show C and E now.

 

Too many times in these games you're taking a point (especially on backcapping) and you have NO idea where you're going next.  Then that next point zooms ALL the way across the map..........and you know you're hosed.  You have nobody near that next point to start capping.  Meanwhile the enemy is getting all of their points super fast.

Next point should only show up when the current point is fully capped. Helis give a whole lot of mobility on large maps.
