Vehicle Damage on environment

I once watched a Russian logie drive down the hill at maximum speed and hit a massive rock at full speed, reverse out and continue on his way as nothing even happened.

 

I don't know the technicalities of implementing speed impact damage to vehicles but eventually something should be done to fix this. It would be even more interesting to see drivers fly out and ragdoll, much like we already have if you get hit by a vehicle

Yup, seems like a feature that is necessary for helicopters, so after those are introduced it's only a question of replicating the system for other vehicles.

wheel damage and minor armour damage would be ok. perhaps make it so ground vics cant blow up from self inflicted damage to avoid tks but leave heli as a flying bomb

 

Heli could have armour/engine/rotor damage

Ground vic gets armour/engine/wheel damage

 

slower driving at the start added to the current 5 -8 min wasted time at the start of every map will be painful.

BTR's and BMP's can float and cross rivers. Their advantage over heavy armored veichles like Bradley & Stryker.

They need to slow down off-road speed by a lot.
