Double Neutral and Ticket Bleed

Recommended Posts

Double neutral stops ticketbleed.

Even if you own more flags or even if you got your double neutral on your last and 2nd flag.

Have yet to figure out if thats a wanted feature or not. Opinions?

If this isn’t a bug, it’s probably because double-neutrals generate a high casualty count. Both teams have to race each other to cap, and neither really has a chance to wait around, so everyone gets cut down. The removal of ticket bleed in this situation may be to ensure double-neutrals don’t shorten the game overly much.

Still seems unfair to the winning side, and exploitable on the losing side. Just hold the double neutral and you're on even ticket bleed. Why even bother trying to take your flag back?

What's the current mechanics for capping double neutral flags? If it's "Attack should have more men in cap range than defender" than it doesn't generate any more casualties than both flags capped situation, nobody has to rush anywhere and even less, without ticket bleed it's even less important to risk for taking your flag back instead of holding what you've got.

This doesn't make any sense. Why would you get ticket bleed for a flag you don't have? If you aren't able to secure enough caps to start ticket bleed without losing your own maybe you aren't on the "winning side" you think you are.

i had the situation where we already held more flags than the enemy, but ticketbleed still stops when double neutral happens on the last 2 flags even if one team already owns 5 and the other team none.

Yea, that's what I'm talking about. If you're up in flags and the other team decides to just hold a double neutral for the rest of the round to block the bleed. Like if it's 2 to 1 on flags with a double neutral in the middle, there should be bleed to incentivize the losing side to get even on flags.
