Should Finland be added to Squad?

Recommended Posts

Finland would be a very good nation to be added to the game. It would add many new weapons and vehicles to game aswell, including Leopard 2A4/6, XA-203, RG-32M as a vehicles. Then RK-95 would be added as a standard rifle, as a AT- gun APILAS would be great to have.

Would like to see Regular MEC, or Asian forces first.

So far, USA - UK - Russia - Eastern Europe (rebel) and Middle eastern (rebel) are represented. Would make sense if we get China next (after release), we got no asian counterpart.

100% agree with this

would be nice to also get France and African rebels in some African maps, which China could fight in too given their increasing presence in the region

@thebiglez They stated in the FAQ on the squad site they'd like to add 2-3 more, but the alpha will only contain the current factions. Might add in beta but i guess after full release.

So if FDF team does well, it could be added.

Yep, in the event that a mod (not just factions) rises to the level of Squad Ready, we're open to talking with teams about adding it to the game. We've done similar with maps in the past, and maybe even a model or two. There aren't hard and fast guidelines (yet), so it's a "we'll know it when we see it," sort of thing. (And not guaranteed to happen, of course.)
