I cant join any servers (Server list does load)

Recommended Posts

Well this is how it goes:

1. I open Squad and click on servers (vanilla not custom)

2.I look for one that i like and join it

3 When im in the loading screen its all okay for some time but then I realize its taking longer than usual (usually it takes 2 to 4 mins).

4. It has been like 6+ minutes and its still in the loading screen.

5. Some minutes have passed and it no longer says "Loading [Map]", now it only says "Loading" then, I get timed out. I have tried this multiple times for different servers without sucess.

Happens with all servers I try to join and yes, I have reinstalled the game, cleared the cache but it still doesnt work.

Refer to this post and let me know any of  additional information I could be of help.

Do this ;

Open 'command Prompt' as Admin Type "netsh winsock reset" and enter. Then type "ipconfig /flushdns" then reboot your PC.

Also

  • Are you not able to connect/see the server from the browser?

1. Is your connection wired or wireless? Make sure you are connected wired.

2. Right click steam > settings > in-game > look for server browser max pings / minute > set to 500

3. See if your Router has "IP Flood Detection" Mode enabled. If so, disable it.
4. Resetting the router could be a help sometimes.
5. Contact your ISP and see if any ports are being blocked

Absolutely the same issue here. After 5-6 minutes, the HDD seizes to work, after Ctrl+Shift+Esc i found that 'Squad is not responding".

Then program is gone from the task manager list. I have tried all 'conventional' methods like, deleting .log-s, fresh installation, clear cache, borderless window, dozens of reboots.. nothing helps.

OS: Win 10 x 64 pro V.1803

CPU: I7 2600 - 3,40 Ghz

GPU: Radeon R9 - 200

RAM:  16 GB

Latest drivers on everything.

75 MB/s LAN

OK,

did the "netsh winsock reset" and enter. Then type "ipconfig /flushdns" stuff

After that got the"mapname  different version " error message .

Verified the game files integrity.

Now i am getting a new error message: something about video-card memory not enough - exiting. Pre-loading textures is OFF, almost all settings are on LOW, VGA is 2 GB VRAM..

Please advise.

After rebooting, we are back at where we start:

After 5-6 minutes, the HDD seizes to work, after Ctrl+Shift+Esc i found that 'Squad is not responding".

This time Winsock reset and flushdns does not change anything. Tried it several times after rebooting.

I am starting to giving up with this game...
