T-80, T-62 or T-55 for militia/insurgents?

Recommended Posts

Are there plans to also add one of these older and great looking tanks to those factions, or will the only RedFor tank be the T-90 ? (In PR there is a T-55 and it's a lot of fun to play with it)

They scanned a T-62 when they went to the Bovington Tank Museum so probably that.

The T-55 would be fun but it's very similar to the T-62. T-80s aren't really used by anyone anymore, Russia has stocks of them but they're harder to maintain especially since Ukraine has the factories that made them.

The T-72B3 is currently in V12. The T-90 is basically an upgraded T-72 tho, shouldn't be too difficult to do. The T-72 is a later variant of the T-64 (T-72 was the name given when it went into production as propaganda afaik.) The T-80 is a different variation of the T-64, so overall i think the T-80 and T-64 shouldn't be as much work as the T-54/T-52 to model.

T-72B3 ? Sure it's not the T-90 in V12 ?

Why did you write " T-54/T-52 " instead of "T-55/T-62" ?

*T-72 they scanned, not T-62 (T-72 has 6 wheels, T-62 has 5) Thanks for the link!

Go down slightly further in that link.

And the V12 Russian tank is a T72-B3, look at any media related to it.

Cool!! Can't wait for T-62 in V12 (that's what I hope for) xD

It is not in V12 but there is plenty of other stuff.

The two tanks being released with V12 are the Abrams and T-72B3. The T-62 and Challenger will come later.

Yep, confirming this -- No T-62/T-90 for the time being. =)
