Scarish Posted February 10, 2018 This is how Belaya and Narva(which, BTW, worked good in prior versions) look like for me in v10.(( Pls, help!
LandsHeer Posted February 12, 2018 Dont blame the game for your potato pc Just kidding Looks like LODs have been reversed for you, everything within 10m got LOD2 or 3 or so and then its alright again.

Actually, you're right. My videocard is a SLI GTX570 Potato.(( What's puzzling me is the fact there was no such an issue at Narva in v9. =\
LaughingJack Posted February 15, 2018 even a spud-card like that should deal with basic concepts like LOD's - something is broken. iv'e played on an old Radeon-HD47xx (fidelity=sh1t3, LODs=fine (lols)) it's not a driver issue? you're not SLI'ing are you? Psyrus Posted February 15, 2018 Standard question, but did you clear your user cache after updating to v10? Note: Why the hell it isn't just cleared by default when the game updates for everyone is beyond me... the amount of "have you cleared the user data" posts that could be saved would be massive @Gatzby
Scarish Posted February 15, 2018 (edited) @LaughingJack With or without SLI, it doesn't matter.( @Psyrus Not only cache. I deinstalled whole v9 and deleted all its leftovers, right before v10 arrival. Looks like it's time to scrap my oldies and buy the new videocard. Of course I could be wrong, but I truly feel that this has nothing to do with your hardware. Lod switches are some through the engine, your gpu just renders what it is being told to render. 8 hours ago, Scarish said: @Psyrus Not only cache. Scarish Posted February 16, 2018 @Psyrus Ok, for "experiment purity", ill do this, one more time. Actually, i have a strong feeling that the problem lies in the tiny videoRAM of my cards, only 1280Mb.
beginna Posted February 16, 2018 8 hours ago, Scarish said: I deinstalled whole v9 and deleted all its leftovers, right before v10 arrival. did you do it like this? manually delete %localappdata%\Squadhttps://offworldindustries.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002768887-How-to-manually-clear-your-user-settings-cache uninstall Squad via Steam manually delete remaining folders in Squad installation directory default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Squad install Squad via Steam reboot PC
Scarish Posted February 16, 2018 @beginna IIRC, yes - i erased literally everything. The only difference in the order of my actions: first, i uninstalled Squad in Steam and after that i deleted every single of its folders.
Scarish Posted February 16, 2018 Ok, i've tried another one time, everything i was suggested in this thread. 1) Updated GeForce driver to the latest WHQL 390.77(via clean installation) 2) Uninstalled Squad 3) Checked for its leftovers 4) Rebooted PC and re-installed the game Nothing have changed.((
