[Solved] Game just disappears.

Hey hey. Still having this same exact problem to this date.

Worst problem is with Server Browser. Game just disappears as I browse the servers.

Usually happens with server connection too.

 

Windows 7 Home

Intel Core i5 6600K @ 3.50GHz

16,0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1200MHz (15-17-17-35)

Hello and welcome to Squad @mikma,

 

with the 9.9 update we had an engine update.

Let's see if the problem persists after you do a clean install of Squad:
  1. manually delete %localappdata%\Squad
    https://offworldindustries.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002768887-How-to-manually-clear-your-user-settings-cache
  2. uninstall Squad via Steam
  3. manually delete remaining folders in Squad installation directory
    default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Squad
  4. install Squad via Steam
  5. reboot PC
report back.

Yo.

So far so good. Complete reinstall with cleared folders apparently eliminated the game disappearing -issue.

If it'll pop up, i'll come back.

If the issue reoccurs, just use the "report post" (top right of the post) and ask for a unlock.
