[Solved] Cannot see any Servers

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have been playing the game for a month but today I cannot see any servers...
That's very strange. How come I dont see any servers please? Is this an issue happening to everyone today or only me?
Any way to fix this issue?
Thanks a lot

Hello and welcome to Squad @Jeffy14,

try this:

in Steam -> Settings -> In Game options there is a dropdown box for "In-Game Server browser: Max Pings/minute".

Set that to 500.

PS:

you can also check servers here: https://playsquad.online/

Wow it actually worked. I saw this solution before but I did not even try it as I thought it was silly.
Anyway, thank you very much!

@beginna

This seems like a kind of dumb problem to have to keep helping people with... is it something that seems like it can be fixed on squad's side (improving the server query backend or something)?

I just don't understand why max pings per minute being set to a higher figure would cause no servers to show up. :|

@Psyrus
I agree a 100% with you.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

first off, I am not an expert in this field.

I suspect that some routers are causing this issue.
I guess the NAT table is overflowing because the server browser is opening so many connections in a short period of time. - no more UDP connections are allowed.

therefore reducing that "max pings/minute" might help.
