Unfortunately the Amd Fx9590 does not perform well in Squad right now, this may or may not change moving forward.

The new AMD Ryzen CPU's do fine.

What sort of FPS are you getting, you can try turning the audio settings low/off this has helped AMD CPUs historically.

FPS is usually stable 30-40, unfortunately my gpu is tending to go up into the 80C, thats on full servers

ive attempted and adjusted all the graphics settings though after it still starts rising again back to the 80's, maybe get a few good hours of game play

i attempted the audio engine.ini fix which did nothing, i shall now attempt the audio low/off.

(edit not much of a change on the temp still running hot as hell)

Does your GPU run hot in other titles, or just Squad?

I have no real experience with AMD CPU/GPU set ups so will be of limited use.

Ensure full texture loading is off in Squad options as well, if it's on turning it off will reduce the VRAM use a little which may help.

Are you playing in 1080p?

30-40fps on this CPU range is actually not to bad.

No it runs lower atleast 10 give take a few in division a few others run smooth no real issues

yes 1080

30-40 is not bad you are correct was just trying to keep it at that range without blowing up my GPU constant hits of 80C

(supposedly this GPU is supposed to run 80-90c ) dafuq is that

Fx9590 and R9 390X are both well known for thier massive power draw under load , both alone can draw over 500W from the PSU when gaming , this all translate in high termal output into the case followed by raising temperatures. ( I guess your 390x has no blower style cooler )

AMD specs the 390 series to 94°C t max. so 80C is still in spec.

If you still feel uncomfortable you can  improve airflow in case, Add aditional case Fans , use a custom fan curve on the R390X, undervolt der R9 390 and so on.

Thank you for the corroboration on thermal output,  it has been a very interesting time running this setup, just wanted to be on the safe side of the curve.
