Towing of unmanned assets

Could we get towing of enemy, & friendly unmanned asset, wrecks. . Something like War Thunder tanks.   Would be nice for stuck assets. And not a game breaker.

We know that enemy wrecks will removed by shovel,

I would prefer more like placement  of High explosives to destroy/remove vehicles. 

 

Also Towing vehicles would be a nice touch....Tow an enemy vehicles to your base & render your enemy without wheel's.

Tow may be a good idea !.

And we can even think of a slingload mechanic for helicopters to carry crates or other static assets...

 

However i think that those mechanics will likely arrive after helicopters + damage model for every vehicle + bigger maps at least (if those features come one day)

You can tow in PostScriptom, so the engine obviously supports it, I'd like it for certain things. Trailer with extra large supply crate, howitzer, things like that.

Howitzers are normally at a main base and topical have 3km range currently what's the range on the in game mortars?

Range on in-game mortars is about 1.23KM according to the wiki.

if digging-up a wreck is not good enough for you, how about:

you need a Logi truck or Heavier to "push" them out of the way. ie: only these vehicles are 'allowed' to be able to move wrecks - wrecks would have modified collision to make them move over the ground easier (not get stuck on things) but still be able to be pushed (can still "roll").

no need for specialised vehicle(s) that may be used only now and then (towing vehicles) and have no other intrinsic use or value within the game.

Actually, the tow ability can be implement on all vehicle if they want. In WT for instance, all tanks are able to be tow or to tow an other tank. The only limitation is the engine power. If you want to tow a big tank like the MAUS with a tiny tank like an M24 you will have a lot of trouble...

 

But yeah the idea of only logi truck or truck to be the only one to tow a vehicule isn't bad. I agree with you that a specialized vehicle like this : http://armedassault.wikia.com/wiki/CRV-6e_Bobcat is not a good idea for Squad.
