Any specific small arms you'd love to see?

catching on to @tatzhit id love too see ammo crates beeing changed when the new inventory system comes, So a normal rifleman would atleast be some kind of use by taking some extra magazines for the M240 or extra LAW´s and RPG Rockets. maybe you could even use weight as a upper cap rather than inventory space, so like 30 KG load before you start loosing stamina really fast and go unconcious after awhile.

With a rifleman carrying extra rockets it should even the fight for infantry squads vs armoured vehicles. All to often you find you don't have enough rounds to actually kill the tougher vehicles.

Add normal belt-fed MG for militia, Russians and insurgents. They can use: PKP(Pecheneg)-Russians and militia, PKM-insurgents and militia, MG 42(3) for insurgents.

Not exactly in the "small arms" category but I sorely miss flashbangs.

Also silenced SMGs and shotguns. :D

suds

I'd love to be able to shock, stun, deafen or blind a group before rushing them. Currently I have to wait till they are busy or distracted for a high level of success.

Perhaps it was mentioned in the other firearms thread, but I'd love to see the M1 and M2 Carbines make an appearance. We made millions of the damn things, and they got spread around to be sure. Whose hands they'd end up in is anyone's guess, but I think the Insurgents and Militia could feasibly have access to it. Goes with the whole WWII motif people are hitting on with the factions.

I'm not convinced the STG-44 should be included; my understanding is that those firearms are quite rare in today's world, and while some isolated cases show insurgents/militiamen carrying them in real life, that's not proof enough to grant them access. Same thing with the P-90 one of those insurgents had, but even then, the P-90 is more accessible than the STG-44. Also, what's the point in grabbing an STG-44 when AK's are so prevalent and cheap? It just doesn't add up to me.

I'd affirm the assertion for CZ rifles to be available to the militia. I'm no authority on the matter, but it seems logical to have them given it's a Warsaw Pact design that got circulated after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, what with the whole emergent black market for surplus arms during that time.

I'm not sure where the M1 Garand comes into play here: that gun didn't get around quite as much as the M1/M2 Carbine did to my understand, especially with .30-06. If they did, I don't think it'd be insurgents or the militia that you'd see it from. I think the FN-FAL and M14 would make more sense for another high-powered rifle addition in the same vain as the G3.

Long-range optics for sniper rifles, definitely.

A squad of 2 or 3 specialized in sniping :

- Main sniper

- The guy with goggles and calculating range tool

- A support guy (medic ?)

Also i would love a revolver .357 .44 or .50

And shotguns !!! Real shotguns i mean, not the kind of shotgun like in call of duty that cannot down a guy at 20 meters.

I would like to see a bit more difference put in RFAF and USAF via special weapons addition.

For example something that I think should be added for RFAF is the AGS-30 (for militia based on how much of them are used in current Ukraine civil war by both sides) or new AGS-40 (this one is only planed to be started getting into army this year) specialist role, it is something that is very common in RFAF and very liked by the troops as very effective force multiplier.

As for USAF I think it would be nice to add more AT specialist as I think their infantry has the weakest AT capabilities at the moment, some heavy AT slots would be nice, some CG, AT-4 or may be SMAW. I`m not really sure what is the current trends in the US army.

Also russians should definitely have the belt fed MG like Pecheneg, altho I guess USAF also uses M240 all the time and very effectively.

Taliban/Insurgents: Lee Enfield Mk III

And somehow I want a revolver in the game, I just can't figure out a way to justify it. Webley Mk. VI to go with the SMLE? No? Maybe?
