With the Long Awaited V9 Update - What are your Expectations for Version 10?

On my dream wishlist for v10 are these, mainly changes to medics as I feel they are horrendous right now:

-Mortars for Fob sieging/support

-Longer medic revive and general bandage times to push medic back from near instarezing people making the "wtf i just shot that dude" situations more rare. Also makes revives harder since more time for enemy to shoot you.

Offset that with

-Wounded dragging mechanic to enable the medic to pick spots where to heal.

-Rudimentary healing animation because I'm tired of the magic hand and looking at the human statue medic heal.

To help medics stay relevant since revival amounts are going down:

-Introduce increased weapon sway for players on low HP. Red goggles does nothing to stop people from playing to their fullest. Bloody screen... so real! -_-

-People who get bandaged/revived lose their bandage if any instead of the medic losing his. This to simulate the core principle of medics using the patients supplies first so as to not systematically run out of supplies himself.

-More instakills. People headshot, direct rocket hits or 30mm should not be revivable. I know it's for "fun" but it ruins every bit of illusion of any realism.

 

Before you think I'm just salty for losing kills to medic: I play medic the most,  I just feel he is OP and is disgusting to play.

Mortars, IEDs, Ofcourse the new animation system, mines and maybe some more specialist classes like combat engineers laying or defusing explosives. the v9 brought heavier vehicles to all the factions which isnt as much fun to play i think, bring back more indirect balancing. 

- the rally points are really powerful since the HABS came into the game, nerf the rallypoints or buff the idea of having and protecting a FOB. soon.

Im not saying hold back on vehicles, but i would like to see more focus put into infantry and emplacement gameplay to slow the pace down a bit again.

My wishlist?  Better framerates.

 

For some reason mine are dropping to near 20.  Which is just horrible.  I should not be dropping below 30 on a GTX 970/i5 2500k @ 4.1GHz and 8gigs RAM.

 

It's not playable at all.  I've tried clearing appdata, I've verified the game, I've done all I can.  I could tolerate high 30's, but going below that has made me really think about uninstalling.

 

The frames are just killing the experience.

Yeah, i got 20 fps sometimes and is very bad to shot accurately on distance and to spot enemies when moving.

 

But I need to recognize, v9 brought more fluid gameplay.

 

Btw,  new core inventory and animations should be enough for now. More fob emplacements should bring more variety on playstyle too.

 

I want new maps btw, I know we have a good amount of maps right now but I wanna see more factions and weapons to fight.

 

Pls, bring ied and general explosives soon! Gonna be great to play with this new weapon as insurgents hahahaha.

- Commander class with extended pre-match planning phase. This class also will distrubute sources (vehicles ) to the squads according to his first tactical orders. Tactical marking for his orders on map at pre-match  planning phase..

- Mortars, ieds and mines

- Hat for us and russian sides

- New city maps

- New class ( breacher _ us and russian- with hooks and demolitions)

- British as a new faction - close to be confirmed-

- new animation and inventory system - confirmed

- Add U.S. Marine Corps (pretty please!)

- Artillery battery at main base which requires realistic calculations for accurate fires

- Gore like Red Orchestra 2

- Freelook like Arma

- Be able to buddy drag or fireman carry wounded

- Ability to loot bodies for ammo and their weapons

- Be able to steady weapons on walls, cracks, windows, rocks, etc. (Realistic stance/cover adjustment like Battlefield)

- More realistic animations so your two hands aren't always touching the gun AT ALL FREAKIN TIMES.

- Melee ability

- Some destruction? Idk lol 

- Vaulting

- IEDs, C4, etc

- Optimization 

 

If adding helos please add a variety. (Huey for combat transport, AH-Z1 for attack, Chinooks for transport/logistics)

What I'm expecting:

Animation rework

Core-inventory

Chance's Al-Basrah (of not put into 9.xxxx)

 

What I'm hoping for:

Coax and HE for APCs/IFVs

British

IEDs/Mines

Dragging wounded

Mortars

More sound effect updates

 

I'm not really expecting any surprises for V10, like we got in V9. Just the things they've already announced. I can hope that they will surprise me though!

Check your windows energy settings, my friend had a simmilar problem and for some reason his energy management was set to eco-mode, he switched it back to performence and the problem was solved

It's already set to that.  No change at all.  Frames still drop harshly at points and it becomes unplayable.  It's not like I'm on a bad system, either.

 

Suppose I'll just have to wait another 3-4 months of poor frames to see if V10 makes any difference.  The game is fun, don't get me wrong, when I can get 40 fps or so.  But dipping below 30 just becomes frustrating.

The only thing I really want is to see are some of the announced teamplay/organization features like commander role, fireteams and crewman role. The lack of those features has been the thorn in my side since I started to play (V7 sale). I think those three features would really ramp up the teamplay experience on publics. My biggest hope is that those features are dependant from the CoreInventory and that we'll see them introduced in V10 <3 but that's just a dream :|

Mortars, Animations, IED, more building things like holes/wood bunker /trenches or anything else usefull in vegetation fight (green zone) and guerilla (ambush)

I would also love the breacher kit with breachable doors <3

Ok. Al-Basrah is officialy confirmed and it will be added probably in V9. On reddit i found GiF which presents British Automatic Rifleman with new animations.
