V9 Disconnects, EAC, and you.

Recommended Posts

Just a quick heads up, we are aware of the server connectivity issues at the moment.

We are working diligently with EAC to fix these issues and get a hotfix out as soon as possible.

Thanks for sticking it out with us and feel free to share this with others who are having similar issues.

Thanks for the update!  Suspected EAC was the culprit, potentially related to those of us who tested in the Beta branch. Maybe a checksum/file not updated to the existing beta files when the alpha build was pushed.

Problem with connecting to the servers. Ends up in main menu in most of the cases without any error message. Mostly happens to servers which has about 10 empty slots or less. When a server is almost empty It's easier for me to get into it.

Had same problems and fixed it:

1.) major pacthes always clear Settings & cache
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Squad\Saved <- detele all inside
2.) EAC re-install (uninstall and install)
EAC in %% steamapps/common/squad/EasyAntiCheat
3.) restart PC

Point 2 i did couple of times 3-4 after that it worked

My game was fine until today!  Not sure what changed but I get booted after about 60 seconds of play in game every try.  Just like a lot of you I'm sure.  Didn't have this issue once until tonight.  My guess would be something steam did but who knows.  I deleted my appdata file and also uninstalled/reinstalled EAC and restarted but no luck.  Will try again tomorrow because I just blew the 30 minutes of time I had trying.  Gotta get some sleep soon.  Oh well.
