  1. 1. Which IFV would you rather see in squad? Bradly: A very famous US IFV that can hold a 6 person and has a 25mm canon. It has also had modifications to withstand IEDs GCV: A prototype US IFV that can hold a 9 man squad and has a 30mm canon. It was build to stand IED and is about twice the weight of the Bradly.

Bradly because its prefect for Squad, you have 3 vehicle roles (comander driver gunner) and 6 places left for the rest of the squad.

Pretty sure Squad is sticking with currently used equipment for factions. The GCV isn't even a contracted project anymore let alone something you'd see in the battle space. Don't get me wrong it's a neat design but again that program ended years ago.

The Bradley however is the US Army standard for an IFV. The heart and soul to mechanized infantry operations currently and for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, it would work great for mech squads

The Americans use MRAPs over humvees anyways, it'd be silly to have some prototype IFVs and  have other outdated ones in the game currently.

Not trying to argue the inclusion of the GCD with this comment, but isn't it common practice to fade out old equipment gradually, when switching to a newer version, in the military?

The USA way of doing it is roll out the MRAP and sell the humvees to countries nearby so you don't have to move them very far.

I am fairly certain there are no humvees used by the American military that are in a combat area. It's all MRAPs now.

It was to replace the Bradley, but then the project was canceled in 2015( I think), I don't know why op thought that putting a vehicle that we have and will never see was a good idea

Doesnt the US use LAV anymore?

I thought it would be ingame before the Bradley to match BTR-82...

I like the fact that some vehicles types are unique to certain factions.
