computer upgrade question - need help/advice

Recommended Posts

My 4670K runs all day at 4.4GHz air cooled. Right now I still have a GTX 770. Depending on how AMD's new video card lineup stacks up in May I'll either get a new 1070 or a 500 series card. I'd hold out for Vega but I believe that is going to be a service not an actual consumer computer part.

Hey man, just to let you know. I have the same cpu: i54670k 4.4GHZ

16GB 1600mhz

MSI GTX 1070

just bought a 1440p g sync monitor and its awesome. Fps vary from 50/70in full servers to 90 fps. But with g sync on you wont feel the fps drops. So i would buy the 1070. If you havent already ;)

Hey thanks for this helpful reply!

I did get the 1070 a couple of months ago. Have been very happy with it. I think our CPU model is at end of life, but it does pair well with a 1070.

Thanks,
RaT
