So. it has been announced in the early 2010's that the Dutch Military will be getting a new pattern to reflect modernization of our armed forced. Together with VOSS (A new system of platecarriers ect to replace the outdated Tac-vests) they were planned to be issues in 2014. Here we sit, in 2016, still wearing the same DPM sheit we exited the cold war with. What are your thoughts on the picture below, which reflects the new pattern? Left is the desert variant, while right would be the 'normal'version. There's also rumours of the Navy getting a blue version.

Certainly a unique coloration for the woodland with the grays and tans mixed.

Look's like an adaptation from our Bundeswehr Flecktarn with a different colour scheme. Funny how the Dutch's former arch enemy is now both equipment and weapons supplier, but glad it is like that :) I'm curious about the abundance of gray, doesn't seem to be suited for woodland fighting rather than urban fighting though I'm of course not someone who's tasked to design these kind of things.

Camos seem to be all about country matching apparel, what about urban camoflaug?  Here's an example I found of urban camo.  Who can find the best urban camo?

For a non-ghillie pattern, UCP is the best urban camouflage.

While there are no pictures of UCP being deployed here, look at urban Syria.

The destruction washed all the colors away, leaving gray. This is what you want to be thinking when you hear "urban warfare" or "urban camouflage."

I think military has secret invisibility tech that few know about.

And only SF get to use.
