EAC Kicked - Connection timed out

Recommended Posts

Issues the last week or so ill try bullet point to be as quick as I can in explaining.

-Connection to server lost before 8.8 hotfix this evening ( 25th nov )

-Verified files, re installed squad, re installed EAC in folder, ran squad as realtime priority, Searched the forums and these were the solutions bur still having trouble.

-Now after the hotfix I get EAC Kicked instead of connection closed.

-Some games I can play right through but majority I get kicked 10 - 30 minutes in.

-I never downloaded sweetfx

If anyone has any solutions or if they have the same problem I'd love to know.

Thanks

Same problems like above.

Some more information:

-I encountered the "server closed connection" error right after 8.7 hotfix

-After the hotifx 8.8 the error message switched to an EAC error

-The error itself seems to appear at the same rate like it did in 8.7. Roughly 30-40 minutes. To ensure the error doesn't appear again after 5 minutes I need to restart   steam to gain an additional playtime of 30-40 minutes

Hardware

Windows 7

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z87-D3HP

AMD Radeon R9 280X

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz

16GB dd3 ram

Glad i'm not the only one having this issue.

Exactly what lonewolf said, to play I have to repair EAC -  verify files - re-install just to get some play time.

Onbaord NIC I play straight from ethernet. I do have an external soundcard hooked up to my sennhiesers but I doubt it's the issue. Squad has played flawlessly in the past with the same set-up .. took a couple months break and came back to these issue's.

I have run driver/malware scans everything is up to date and healthy.

LogInit: XAudio2 using 'SPDIF Interface (FiiO USB DAC-E18)' : 2 channels at 44.1 kHz using 16 bits per sample (channel mask 0x3)
LogInit: FAudioDevice initialized. -

My soundcard seems to be fine? I'm not that tech savvy but the logs don't show anything unusual apart from this

LogOnline:Warning: Unknown or unsupported data type from Steam key data NUMPUBCONN 60
LogOnline:Warning: STEAM: Failed to parse setting from key NUMPUBCONN value 60

In my crash reports I do have this

[CrashReportClient]
bHideLogFilesOption=false
bIsAllowedToCloseWithoutSending=true

Same problem here.

"EAC Kicked. Authentication timed out".

I use a MSI motherboard.

My Issue resolved. Cleared the cache and rebooted Steam.

Clear cache in the ingame game options.

How do I clear the cache?

Do you mean to delete the folder located at C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Local  ?

Same here, EAC kicks me at each server connection (I use SweetFX too, but was perfectly working on V.8.7) even after game files integrity checked, clearing cache and so on.

+ I now get Fatal error + CTD immediately after being kicked...

So we fixed Deputy Swans issue. It was related to a bad system clock (Cmos battery). Do you guys have a system clock that is off?

Same problem here!

Windows 10 64x, i5 4570, but gigabyte mobo tho...

Edit: So this is what worked for me... I verified game files, closed steam, cleared cache, restarted my PC and problem was gone.

Played for +2 hours without any troubles what so ever.

I've read the problem might comeback so I post again if it f***king does.
