What is "Xbox app"?

Comes with windows 10.

If you want to remove it just open powershell (not CMD) and run: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage

Mine was on, turned it off, will see if it makes an improvement. Regardless, I don't need the DVR functionality and defaulting to "on" is annoying imo. Thanks for the tip.

I removed the app, and this was the result:

I instantly noticed that when i typed in the statFPS command in the main menu, my fps was capped at 60 (it allways used to show something around 250)

Also, in the training range afterwards, fps were also capped at 60 (I used to get around 90 or something)

I guess removing the app has now allowed some other setting that i probably have, that caps fps at 60, to work?

Edit: Wasn't there some command to set an fps cap in the game?

EditEdit: It had to do with v-sync, sorry, i've been playing around with the settings and I forgot I had it enabled :S
