This how democracy works.

How could we have and say that we have democracy ... if most of us live in feudalism? How ? Its simple. Every single company is small bussiness feudalism island. most of our life we think, act and work in feudalism. We have our boss (king) and we work for him. You can leave. But there is another boss (king) state who want taxes and not small but pretty huge. There are another king who want protection money for house living, food, water. Is that democracy ? You can go and protest. If they allow you. If not you can burn your transparent in fire. If it will be in public police officer will come and beat you to small bead. Do I talk about some dictator country like North Korea ? No Iam talking about almost every single europien country. If people could change something by voting they would forbid it. Right now we ca nsee big emotion and big theatre in our Tv and radio and newspaper. ok lets back to democracy. Democracy is goverment organisation. Not living society organisation. This is two different things. And there is a trick. We , residents think that democracy is social arrangement. And that democracy = freedom. Freedom is if you can eat, drink, travel, house, and life without any additional costs. Right now in my democratic country which is part of EU there are villages where people have to pay tax for water which rain from sky ! Is that freedom ?

Well we all can scream at eachother, but it's done & dusted,.

This how democracy works.

This, everyone their own but this is the most important part, even if one is not OK with the outcome one should always accept that the vote was decided.

Having the option to vote for something is a privilege not everyone has!

You leftwing's do not have to be offended. It's just facts :)

as i said... its a start of flame war. What you stated is not a fact. Is EU socialist society? What is socialism? How it started as idea? What is purpose of that society? What is economy? How economy started and evolved? What are future prospects of worlds economy? How is economy related to socialism and others form of society?

Whole matter is pretty big with many opinions... and I'm not going to discuss it here as it will start a flame war and derail from OP. And I only scratched it a little bit. If you try to look for these answers, you will find some new concepts (and much more important/fundamental ones). Do not rush to conclusion you know these answers but start some light reading on subject, I'm sure you will find it as interesting read. History of humanity is strange and delicate thing, my friend. Better than any Turkish/Spanish tv serials :)

But if you don't have time or will to go trough that, that's really fine. It takes a lot of time and energy but don't make any definite and hasty conclusion then.

Lol, uhu.. You have no idea what you are talking about, and are probably are one of those 52% who have no idea what it meant to be ''part'' of the EU, and what it will mean not to be part of it. You probably are also one that believes that propaganda bullshit where it says ''WE ARE PAYING XXX MILLIONS TO EU EVERY WEEK, HELP IT STOP''...

Enjoy the collapse of your economy.

I really hope that you guy´s will stay in the EU... I love my dutch neighbors!

Yet I've seen nothing contradicting what I've said.

I take it you voted to remain? Care to enlighten us on why remaining was such an obvious choice?

Nah, I'm from the Netherlands.

Once the dust settles people will realise the UK's exit from the EU is not some right wing movement.

An independent UK can focus on itself, and establishing appropriate positive relations and rules with its European friends.

Will the UK suffer financially, IMO yes it will and the next decade will be difficult. But for me, it is and never was all about money. How sad if that was reason many voted to stay in.

Yep, that's true. I expressed my opinion on your post: hasty and definite answer about topic that is sensitive and needs more thought to it. I had similar way of thinking as you but when researched a topic little more, I was surprised how interesting it all was. Just tried to interest you on it but as it seems, I produced opposite effect. Sorry for that. Anyway, its only my opinion and as it seems, nobody actually cares about it but you and me :)

Sorry if i offend you. Not offended nor meant to offend.

Good for them. They saw no change with the EU and they deserve the right to determine the direction of their country, with or without everyone's approval.

BLITZA goes BANG.

I followed that little fracas you just had with @MikeDude and wondered why he felt entitled to opine on the subject. Lol.

I'm moving to Scotland in December. I'll be following the decisions that you, and the Scots, make... with vested interest. A win for English sovereignty, at the very least. We'll see how your economy shapes up over the next six months after the rocky, knee-jerk, doomsday bullshit blows over. Good luck, BLITZA. I'll see you at the pub in January.

?

Are you saying Scotland is not entitled to do what they want? I only see the next logical step here. If they vote like 80% to stay in the EU why should n´t they join for themselves or at least vote about it?

We don´t "need" any one in the EU to join, it´s just a matter of ones choosing to do so.

And I think with all these right wing, excuse my language here, assholes we need a stable and united EU more then ever before since the cold war era.

But that is just my opinion.

Bonny Scotland have the right to do what they think is right & the EU to take them in' if they pass the conditions of  "Copenhagen criteria" .

But why does one country fight so hard for independence just to be ruled by the non elected, gravy train sucking EU bureaucrats!?..

Answer: "Money".

Imho!.

I did not think about money while writing my statement, maybe my english just suck´s sometimes xP

I am happy with my life as it is, I just am worried what is going on on this planet at the moment, we suddenly have so many racists and people just only caring about them self´s that I think we need a strong EU working together. I don´t want to say that the UK is selfish for wanting to leave the EU I just mean that we need to get rid of all the racism and help the people who really need our help.

EDT: I really don´t want to insult anybody, my english may sound like that sometimes :P

I hear you brother, but the UK leaving the EU has nothing todo with your very important points.

In fact IMO the 2 areas you raise, racism and the UK's ability to help those that need it will improve greatly when the UK is not within the EU.
