When I list players to see steam ID, does anyone know a way of selecting a steam ID and copying it?

Cheers

I don't know for sure but does RCon allow for console commands?

That way you'll probably be able to do it over an RCon tool.

Now that vehicles have been released, is there a way for us to spawn them? I would like to test them out in single player, i know they are on the testing range, but i'd like to explore the other maps aswell with them.

Is there an admin command to change a squad's name? We frequently have public players creating squad names which are not acceptable on our server, and I'd like to know how to change them if possible. Thanks.

It is possible to go to "Firing Range" and change the map using:

AdminChangeMap <MapName>

But then you don't have the condition of the firing range (ability to select all kits etc.)

Is there a single command which simulates the conditions of the Firing Range in order to make other maps convenient for testing, just like in Firing Range ?

Some of the conditions are:

  • Ability to choose all kits.
  • No deploy restrictions.
  • Avoid waiting for spawn after death.

Just as a heads-up, the firing range has a known issue at the moment (which persists across map changes) that causes movement to be a little, ah, sticky. A fix is coming. =)

Using Adminslomo can restore some movement, and cameraperson mode works for exploration. (The gamepedia link above has more information on how to use the camera.)

Not to my knowledge (https://squad.gamepedia.com/Server_Administration), but Nordic recently shared that entering admincam in local will refresh your inventory.

Almost sounds like the sort of thing a "training" mod might be made for too.

I enter the Firing Range and changed map to Al-Basrah AAS v1 using console command.

I noticed that when typing "Respawn" in console, it still has the delay before you can spawn again:

"Waiting to spawn in X secs..."

Is there a command that allows to spawn instantly?

Squad v9.11.

AFAIK: no, there is no such command.

We do speed up time with the command:

adminslomo x

x=1for realtime

x=4 four times faster than realtime

Is there any known command to allow me to connect to a server via IP? I have a local server that I would like to test prior to making it public. I don't want to have people playing on my server if it isn't performing well.

Hopefully they just help update the wiki instead. ;) https://squad.gamepedia.com/Server_Administration (Admin and "public" console commands available here.)

Not sure -- 'open' has historically been Unreal's way of connecting. This link doesn't help so much, but it IS a really cool way to look at the commands and variables available in the Unreal Engine. =) http://www.kosmokleaner.de/ownsoft/UE4CVarBrowser.html

Where can i find out what vehicles have which ID so i can spawn them in a singleplayer session (not on the range)? Namely the bradley and warrior for practicing. Or is there a current list of vehicle ID's/names that i can use to spawn them in?

Usgu and the wiki team have you covered! https://squad.gamepedia.com/Server_Administration#Vehicle_Spawn_Commands

Thanks, i did take a look at the wiki, but i checked out the vehicles section for their ID's. Would help a lot if the ID's were noted there aswell.

Oooh, not a bad suggestion for @Usgu.

Could you please specify exactly what you mean by ID? I don't understand. The wiki lists the spawn IDs as, for example, "/Game/Vehicles/Technical/BP_Technical_Transport_INS.BP_Technical_Transport_INS_c". What else do you need?
