There is a Post Report system in place. If you notice a post that violates forum rules, simply use the exclamation mark icon below the users avatar image to send a report to the Moderation. You will not be punished for using the Report system even if the report was false, unless you repeatedly abuse the system to spam it.

Okay so, I just stumbled across a certain reddit thread: I found this to be incredibly effective in reducing stutter in ALL games, not just Squad/PUBG This is especially useful for dullards like myself who of course thought : BiGgEr PaGeFile MUsT MeAN BEttEr tl:dr: Set Pagefile initial value and Maximum value to recommended amount and restart PC - Problem fixed.
Hello, two days ago I bought Squad and have been enjoing it a lot. There is something that really hinders my enjoyment though, in form of irregular freezes and stutters that last from 5 seconds up to a whole minute or more with what feels like one frame every 10 seconds. The problem can't really be my Hardware (except maybe HDD judging from the logs but that must still be software related) as my fps during "normal" gameplay is stable, I have 16GB of fast RAM, a GTX 1060 6GB and a dreadful but sufficient FX-8150. After a long search online I checked my log file to find a couple of errors that spam the log of my last (very frustrating) session but I can't pin down the problem myself. - thousands of "LogSquadVoice:Warning: Excessive data buildup in voice input, dropping frame." - about 850x "LogSquadTrace: [Client] USQScoreboardTeam::CreateNewPlayer_Implementation(): The player was already tracked" within about 25 seconds -this interesting part right here: LogStreaming:Error: Couldn't find file for package /Game/Art/Items/M9a1Beretta/Sounds/Foley/Splitted/Undeploy/Switch/m9_undeploy_switch_Cue requested by async loading code. NameToLoad: /Game/Art/Items/M9a1Beretta/Sounds/Foley/Splitted/Undeploy/Switch/m9_undeploy_switch_Cue [2018.07.01-12.24.56:938]LogStreaming:Error: This will hitch streaming because it ends up searching the disk instead of finding the file in the pak file. Running Squad at 3840x1600 ultrawide causes strange GPU usage anomalies on certain maps. The best example is Kohat Toi - FPS drops happen regardless of player count and the game's debug overlay suggests high frametime caused by GPU - BUT - MSI Afterburner tells me GPU isn't even hitting it's max usage... https://imgur.com/a/Unjp7xd https://imgur.com/a/Rg7yPZY Please see attached screenshots. You can see the GPU usage isn't at max, but the framerate is lower than refresh rate of monitor (60hz), which would make sense if the CPU or network was struggling etc etc, but the debug overlay clearly says the problem is coming from the GPU. I am really confused about this, and I've never seen this before in a game. I am fully aware that I'm running a crazy-high resolution and would expect to see FPS drops because of this, but the data I'm sharing here actually suggests that my GPU has plenty of headroom left, and yet something is stopping it from using that left-over power. And it doesn't seem to be the CPU! specs: 6700K - 4.5ghz MSI 1080ti - not OC'd Samsung PRO EVO SSD ASUS Hero VIII H100 watercooler. Acer 38" XR382CQK Windows 8.1 64-bit
OS: Windows 10 CPU: Intel i5-4690k not O.C'ed GPU: GTX 970 RAM: 16GB Hello, After the v11.1 after about 10-15 minutes of play I get a stutter and within a minute or 2 I crash out without any error notice afterwards. I tried verifying game files, clearing game cache and reinstalling the game and anti cheat. Everything is up to date. Any info would be great. So i am currently having problems with squad. Squad never ran 100% smoothly on my pc but i used to get 40-70 fps on v9 with some slight stuttering, all of this was acceptable since i had never put effort in optmising it and the scale of the maps/battles is pretty big. However when v10 rolled in the game became nearly unplayable, maps took way too much time to load, 20 fps became the new standard and stuttering skyrocketed. At first i tought: hmm... maybe the game really demands more than my pc can deliver, too bad. But then i saw a karmakut video of him running the game at 60 fps with 0 stutter and i got curious so i looked up other people having performance issues on the game and found out people with way worse rigs were getting 60 fps straight. My pc has a Gtx 980, AMD phenom 2 x6(6 cores) and 8gigs of ram, its NOT a bad pc by any means. Knowing this i tried basically every fix i could find on the internet except for reinstalling windows. They maybe restored about 10 fps but the stuttering is still insanely high. Now im here asking you people what the actual **** am i supposed to do to get the damn game to run well. Is there anything you guys can think of? Is there a patch comming soon or what? Because i recon im not the only one with this issue. Issue: Hey guys, I'm having some issues that is not allowing me to play the game at the moment. I want to go forward and also point out that I've played Squad since before it was on steam and this is honestly the first major problemI have had to deal with. What is happening, is the game starts up fine. When I go into the training map it runs flawlessly, with cpu peaking around 40-50% usage and getting great FPS. Now, the moment that I try to load into any server, no matter the population, the game loads in. I get the scenery default view where I can join a squad and grab a role. At this point, you can tell the game is literally unplayable. Everything moves in delay like when hitting enter to bring up the menu etc. Even if i give it some time, nothing changes. Now the interesting part here is my cpu usage is hovering only around 5-8% usage now and is not getting any higher. It seems that my hardware is not wanting to fully function only when in live servers. I want to assume that its something to do with the EAC system because earlier I was getting timeout errors. After some troubleshooting I haven't seen anymore of these messages and I'm not getting anymore errors, just terrible performance when in a live server. Spec: i72600 @ 3.89ghz GTX 980 Running off of 500GB HDD. 16GB of DDR3 Ram THINGS I HAVE ALREADY TRIED Deleting AppData squad folder. Full Clean installation of squad. Made sure to purge any squad files before re-downloading. Repairing EAC software Disabling Firewall/Anti-virus completely Rebooting PC Still having issues with only live servers. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Would appreciate any kind of tips or suggestions. Thanks! UPDATE: I FIXED IT. My solution After looking back into EAC I decided to try and not repair but instead actually uninstall it. Once re-installed everything returned to normal and performance is great. Who new an anti cheating service would mess up performance that bad.
Hi i have had some serious problem. with squad ever since i bought it. i got alot of stutter going on and my overall FPS is really low. and i have the Graphic settings on low. With 1920x1080p Resuloution when i switch to a lower Res the FPS drops even lower for some reason. If anyone have tips or tricks pls let me know CPU : Intel I5 760 @ 2.80 Ghz Lynnfield 4 Cores, MMX, X86-64, SSE4.2 But its overclocked to 3,33 Ghz MOTHERBOARD : MSI : H55M-E33(MS-7636 GPU : AMD Radeon R9 380 4 GB RAM : 8 GB
So I just bought squad. Regardless of my internet connection or my graphics or sound quality, my game continues to freeze for a good 15 to 20 seconds whether it be in the menu or in combat, then itll continue to play normally. My driver is an NVIDIA GTX 660 and I updated the driver and it is still giving me problems. I turned off anti-aliasing and V-sync and I still get problems. I turned down my VRAM usage down and it's still freezin up. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have verified my games cache files several times and it's still freezing up.
As soon as I started playing i noticed the lag (despite having turned everything down to medium/high 1024px shadows) ~6gb ram and ~12gb pagefile was in constant use, but as soon as i disabled my pagefile all together, rebooted my computer, it went down to ~3gb ram and ~6gb pagefile (at least according to the task manager and afterburner), would love some input from a dev and if you guys could investigate further whether there's a connection between this phenomena and if you can somehow plug the hole since I'm now running (almost maxed out) with the only exception for no fxaa/msaa and 2048px shadows at 1080p with ~30fps (depending on the amount of explosions/smoke).
