      Forum Rules   07/06/2016

Introduction   The Squad Team reserves the right to edit, update, add and remove rules at any time. Applicable rules extend to the PM system. Your PMs are private, but the Squad Team may be informed about unacceptable PM content by the receiving party.   Section I: Posting Rules   §1 Show Respect This community can only work if we all respect each other. To that end, it is imperative that any time you engage with another user, either directly or indirectly, you show them respect with the content of your post. In particular refrain from flaming, insulting, abusing, taunting, racism, and other similar types of actions towards other forum users.   §2 Attitude & Behavior Poor attitude and behavior are the most common ways a negative / unsafe environment is created and perpetuated. As such that kind of behavior will not be allowed on these forums. Please be mindful of this rule when posting personal positions and opinions regarding topics which could be considered contentious in nature. As a rule of thumb, keep your posts civil in nature, and refrain from making posts that are likely to incite arguments and create a negative environment. As a privately hosted web forum we reserve the right to maintain an environment that we are happy the majority of our players are comfortable with.   §3 Swearing While we will not strictly moderate every little swear that occurs, please try to avoid excessive bad language. The moderation reserves the right to remove rants and unsuitable content at any time.   §4 Illegal Topics
Prohibited topics include, but are not limited to: Piracy, drugs (including cannabis), pornography, religion, racism, sexism, homo/trans -phobic content, videos and images showing violent death or serious injury, ‘spam threads’, hacking & griefing (endorsement thereof), religion, politics,  etc. Prohibition may be suspended for some threads if they are found to be suitable by the Moderation (such as scientific debate).
If there is doubt, the Moderation Team can decide whether a topic is considered illegal.   §5 Attitude towards Squad and the Development Team
As per §1 and §2, keep in mind to be respectful and reasonable, not only towards all users of the forum, but also towards the Squad Team and towards any ideas and content and the game itself. Criticism is welcome, but if it is not constructive and/or if it is offensive, the Moderation may need to step in. Please refrain from posting if you are upset, angry or drunk, or you may be punished for things you wouldn’t have otherwise written, which is not in anyone's interest.   §6 Language & Legibility
Please post only in English. Non-English content (including non-legible content) may be removed. If you see someone posting in another language because s/he apparently does not speak English, please report their post - if you can, you may reply in their language to explain their question, but please do translate their and your message so it can be reviewed by the Moderation. ‘Hiding’ insults in non-English posts will be punished harshly. Posts written largely in ‘leetspeak’ or full of spelling / grammatical errors may be treated like non-English content. This rule does not extend to PMs.   §7 Forum structure & Search
Please ensure when posting a new thread, that the thread is located inside the correct forum section. Check all forum section titles to judge where your thread should belong. Threads created in the wrong forum section will be moved or deleted.
Before posting a new thread, please make use of the forum search to find older threads about the same topic. In doubt, it is recommended to rather post in an existing thread, unless that thread is years out of date. However, do not bump old threads without adding a new question / answer / insight that wasn’t in that thread before - use common sense.   §8 Thread Titles
Please name your thread appropriately; the subject title should sum up / explain the content in the thread. If you fail to name your thread properly (such as ‘Hey!’ or ‘Check this out!’ or ‘Help!’), we will either rename or lock the topic. Repeated offense may lead to infractions. The practice of using CAPITALS only in your thread title is not allowed and will be edited or the thread will simply be deleted. Strange or abnormal Unicode characters should be excluded from thread titles for the sake of being distracting and unnecessary.
      §9 Thread Capitalization
Please ensure that your post is not in all CAPITALS, as this is not allowed. Any threads posted in all caps will subsequently be removed from the forum. Repeated offenses may lead to infractions against your account. This practice is not approved or accepted here.
        §10 Images in posts
When posting images, mind the following restrictions:
.gifs will be allowed and may be removed by Staff if deemed necessary.
Maximum size for images is 1280x1024.
Do not include more than ~1 large image per paragraph of text, unless in image collection / announcement threads. Link to further images.
Consider posting thumbnails. You may post a few more images per post if they are reasonably small, the details are for the Moderation to judge.   §11 The use of BBCode
It is allowed to use the BBCode in your posts. Over usage is not allowed. You may use the Bold in a reasonable manner but not for the whole text body. You may use the size feature but in a limited reasonable manner. You may not use any of the additional fonts at all. Color may be used to high light a point but again, not for the whole text body. Moderators will be watching for misuse and will edit when required without giving notice. Continued disregard for this rule will result in Moderator action in the form of warnings.   §12 Complaints of Server/Admin Abuse Reports of server/admin abuse will not be posted publicly. All reports concerning this type of behavior should be place in the appropriate sub-forum. http://forums.joinsquad.com/forum/241-report-server-admin-abuse/ All posts made outside of this area will be be removed.   Section II: Reporting & Moderation   §1 Reporting Posts
There is a Post Report system in place. If you notice a post that violates forum rules, simply use the exclamation mark icon below the users avatar image to send a report to the Moderation. We will then review this post. Your report will not be made public and cannot be linked to your person by anyone outside of the Squad Team. You will not be punished for using the Report system even if the report was false, unless you repeatedly abuse the system to spam it.
Do not ‘report’ posts by replying directly in public to them. In case of spambots, this prompts them to respond in turn, spamming the forum further. This also fuels flame wars and arguments.   §2 Reporting Moderators
Moderators are subject to the same forum rules (and some additional rules / exceptions). If you think that a Moderator has treated you unfairly or is otherwise breaking forum rules, please PM the Lead Moderator or any Administrator. Do not accuse Moderators in public, the Squad Team will treat every complaint seriously and it is in our interest to discipline or remove Moderators who are known to break forum rules.   §3 Respect Squad Team members and Moderators
Do not ignore or argue against Admin, Moderator or Dev instructions on the forum. If you have a complaint, as per §2, please inform the Team in private. You are expected to follow orders given by the Moderation, Administration and Development Team, and it is necessary for smooth running of the forum to respect their decisions. Being stubborn or ignoring warnings will lead to harsher punishments - however, we do not tolerate Moderator / Admin abuse of power / privileges, so do not hesitate to inform other Team members if you feel treated unfairly.   §4 Bans and multiple accounts
If your account is temporarily or permanently banned, do NOT create another account. Bypassing a ban will result in further action, and a permanent ban of all of your accounts.
You are not allowed to have more than one account for any reason. If you share an internet connection with another user who has their own account, it might happen that this account is incorrectly identified as a secondary account - please get in touch with the Moderation or Administration to resolve such issues.

  1. Hello, This has been happening since about two patches ago, but far more frequently since the latest patch. Every 15 minutes or so, I will be kicked from any server with this message. I have reinstalled the game (on a new HDD and my SSD), repaired and reinstalled easy anti-cheat, checked my firewalls, allowed the game and easy anti-cheat through it, and deleted the folders in appdata a dozen times. I cannot figure out why this is happening. I never had the issue before. As you can imagine, it gets annoying to get into a server after waiting on ques with about 10 other people just to be kicked in 15mins and wait again when I'm playing with my friends. Some of my friends get this issue randomly as well. Any idea what this could be? *Also, I'm not in the public testing version, just in the normal Squad version. Specs: i7-8700k RX 580 16GB RAM 500gb SSD Thanks,

Our Server Rules 1. Be respectful: Absolutely no discrimination of any kind to other players will be tolerated. 2. Team Killing: Deliberate team kills will not be tolerated, this includes revenge/retaliation team kills or team killing in 'self defence'. Apologise for accidental team kills in all chat. 3. Cheating: Cheating of any kind will result in a ban, this includes hacking, glitching and other exploits. 4. Base Camping: We allow the enemy team out of main without hinderance to the 1st flag Such as Planting Mines right outside Protection Zone, Destroying/Killing Vehicles that just left Main Protection Zone. Some Objectives are very close to Main Base, But it doesn't mean it's allowed to Stay right next to them, in order to Secure the Cap Zone. If an Admin Considers that you are Too Close/Breaking the rule, you will be Asked to Stop Doing That or risking being kicked from the Server. 5. Squad Leaders: All squad leaders must have the squad leader kit at all times, they must have a microphone and be able to communicate in English to other squad leaders. A reasonable effort should be made to play the objective. taking all the vehicles, placing a FOB miles from objectives or sitting at un-capable/defendable objectives is not helping your team. 6. Unassigned: All players must join a squad, if one is not available, create one. 7. Spam/Advertising: Do not spam VOIP or text chat (playing music down the mic, etc). Do not advertise on our server, this includes URLs or any kind of advertising in your steam name. In addition NO recruiting on this server, unless for R-B 8. Vehicles: All APCs/IFV that require Crewman kit must be 2 manned. Do not Abandon Vehicles anywhere else, than FOB or Main Base. 9. No locked squads: Unless 2-3 man APC/IFV squad or 3-4 man motor squad. Locked squads for collective languages will be allowed, if the SL speaks English over SL chat. 1-Man Logistics/SPG Squads are Allowed. 10. Creating a squad without intending to lead it: Don't make a squad, then leave it and making someone else be an SL 11. No Camping bridges leading out of main bases. Players must wait till the enemy team are over the bridges before attacking. Our Seeding rules: 1. Both teams pick a flag and agree to fight over the flag 2. No HABs, FOBs or rallys to be placed on the agreed fighting flag 3. No Vehicles with armour to be used during seeding 4. No attacking each others HABs, FOBs or rallys until the server is live 5. All spawn placements must placed on a non agreed fighting flag or at a great distance to prevent players from walking onto the spawn points. If you have a complaint, question or issue: In any event that players have a complaint, question or issue, please join our discord and use the #report to admin channel. https://discord.gg/jEjMpAn
  3. Hey guys, I have searched the forums and there is no answer that I can find. I want to start a server locally on my machine and host it with clan members for purposes of training. Meaning not a public permeant server but a local training server for a short period of time. In PR there is a way to do so through IP, and since the idea is not to open a permeant server I find it a bit ridicules to rent a server for a few hours. Is there any way to do so like there is in PR? Cheers and sorry the question has been asked already I find it hard to find any topic discussing that.
  4. Hi there Community, Just to start the discussion about clans servers. I have been playing this game since the start and so far got 3252 hours ( i can already hear people screaming, we don't care about your hours, you feel like a big man huh ). I have spend countless times training SL's that say that don't know what to do. i would help them throughout the game and give proper instructions. When there are no squads in the start of the round and people are waiting, i will tell people to create one and i will help them with every step ( often works ). By saying the above i want to state that i think i have a strong community sense and want to help the game get better. Clans promoting disastrous gameplay tactics: - 3 manned clan member tanks wiping out the whole game since experienced armour is hard to come by and will create a in-balance very quickly - Sitting just outside of main and not really on main and waiting for logi's and other vehicles to come out of main - Full squad of clan members rushing the first flags to cut off the whole chain of the enemy - Constant switching to US and leaving RU and INF mostly with not so experienced people. If you have played this game a lot, you might have noticed the mentioned issues above are incredible effective and will most certain destroy an almost 2 hour match. (also noticed they handing out macros that will create pre-defined named squads attached to a key bind to claim vehicles and heli's faster.) Balance Clan servers are mostly one side matches since even if you see 14 clan members in one side, they all have 1 friend in there and makes a full faction. When talking about balance they just all shift to the other side and destroy the other faction ( mostly because clans tend to play US only and switch to US on every occasion to simulate balance. Squad locking and guidelines (Please kick the members to accomplish the same, do not lock your squad). Why is squad locking in the game if you cant use it, why are the admins controlling the actual game mechanics and should they be able? Are there rules given from the developers that they have to uphold in order for their license to be renewed ( i can hear someones wallet getting empty by saying this ) You don't have to be on this server This statement is the first thing i hear when mentioning something incorrect, the problem is that all servers are clan servers with a large overlap in rules. Example of a good server I nominate PA servers as a very good example of an excellent clan server with minimal to almost no interference and seems to work perfectly fine. i think it has to do with the little amount of clan members dominating the their servers which makes the gameplay very balanced. Most people know PA server you can solo a tank if you wanted too, yet it almost never happens.
  5. SERVER - [ BR ] CBPR | SQ

Currently, the SQUAD Brazilian community faces problems due to the lack of a public server that could keep the game alive in our coyntry. So, after 10 years after its first foundation, the CBPR comes back again to offer fun to all SQUAD players. With friendship and respect as its basic principles, along with the development and strengthening of the basic knowledge needed to the ingame experience and also promoting and massifying the culture of team and fair play among players, CBPR | SQ opens its doors for all the ones willing to have fun once again. COLLABORATION PROPOSAL CBPR was created back in 2009 with the mission of bringing Project Reality Mini Mod players to a gameplay experience full of teamwork, interaction and digital entertainment. Five years after the end of its activities and observing the current Squad scenario in our country - with servers constantly under DDOS attacks and also with technical and structural problems, the CBPR | SQ comes back to rescue all those great matches full of teamwork. Almost 10 years since its establishment, CBPR will once again provide the best in and off game environment for all rule-abiding players who are willing to collaborate with each others’ fun. Our management team is made up of players from the community and also has the experience of the former board members who have been on the team for a long time. It’s always good to point that CBPR | SQ has its structure completely independent of other communities. It’s also known that the Community has already been supported by Click21, Terra Games, Comunidade Gamer and UBGE, in addition to the great job done by other clans, including the offering of servers. However, we’ve made it crystal clear that since the year of 2009 the CBPR belongs only to the RBR clan "Reality Brasil", pioneer in the spread, practice and knowledge sharing of the ex mod Project Reality. CBPR | SQ is composed of teams committed to further develop your in and off-game experience and we all hope that everyone can enjoy this new experience leaving all the problems behind, while focusing on the maintenance and development of the game matches. We're all here only to have fun playing this great FPS game. Visit Fórum

  7. So creating a community based around squad and spinning up a squad server, only to be placed in the custom browser, having to have the server un-modded if we want to become listed in the standard browser all while being expected to have 10+ admin team in order to get to the standard browser seems a bit of a killer. Why would people search through the custom browser if they want vanilla and how are new communities meant to get to the standard browser if those people don't join and interact. Sorry, just trying to wrap my head around why there is a licensing area compared to having a vanilla and modded tab.

Total War | Chicago Provided by FFO https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/squad/3362671 Teamspeak: ts3.ffosquad.net:9991 Website: https://ffosquad.net/ Discord: https://discord.io/FFOSquad Live stats; Deaths and Incaps that update every 10 seconds: http://ffosquad.net/stats Server Rules: -No bigoted language Although we are usually concerned with the intent behind language rather than the use of any particular words, we make an exception for language which is primarily associated with hate speech towards a particular demographic. Regardless of intent, the cultural associations with these words makes their usage unconducive to a friendly environment. Depending on the severity of the infraction, you may be kicked, and or banned immediately. -Do not consciously hinder your team Examples of this include, but are not limited to, intentional teamkilling, building irrelevant superFOBs, sitting in main, etc. This is not about player skill; all skill levels are welcome as long as a player is making an honest effort to contribute to their team. This includes disconnecting after breaking rules. -If the server is full you may be removed for being AFK This is in no way meant to be a punishment, this is just to make room for people who want to play.
  11. Server name BB | Blood Bound Server (UK/EU) Server location Falkenstein, Germany Server slots 80 / 2 reserved About: Blood Bound was originally a Project Reality clan created by PR veterans Hudson and Ark. Since the Clan's humble origins, it has been rebuilt from the ground up, reinvigorated with a new breath of life, and has grown steadily. Over this past year BB has transformed from an underdog into one of Squads most successful communities and one of Squads most popular servers. The players wearing the BB tags are a group of like-minded individuals who have come a long way from a shared past that ties us together. BB is continually expanding, and we are always looking out for those people who play as a team, have the skill and mindset of a serious Squad player - but who also know how to have a bit of fun! We pride ourselves on our ability to balance good, coordinated teamplay along with a good-natured and respectful sense of humour. Outside of Squad we also play an array of games, with members free to enjoy whatever they want to play. Our discord is the heart of Blood Bound. This is our corner of the net where we hang out and play games with the rest of the world, and we welcome everyone to our community! Discord: Blood Bound Reporting a player: Hop on our Discord to get in touch with an admin ASAP in our #contact_an_admin channel and tag the @Admins provide the nickname and SteamID64 / Steam profile permalink (read the pinned post in the channel for an explanation) of the offending player, so we can identify them tell us what team they're on, and if possible, in which squad explain in detail what the player did if possible, provide any relevant evidence, such as footage of the incident (uploaded as an unlisted Youtube video) or relevant screenshots - video evidence being preferred Appealing a ban: Please join our Discord and follow the instructions in the pinned messages in our #contact_an_admin channel. = Server Rules = We're all about teamwork, good communication, and providing a good atmosphere to keep the quality of gameplay high, as well as keep things fun. If you have any questions or concerns, you can post a comment here - though joining our Discord is of course the quickest way to get in touch. Admins reserve the right to remove anyone from the server that is deemed detrimental to the general atmosphere on the server or the level of teamwork / gameplay on the server at their discretion. Admin decisions and requests are to be respected at all times. If you wish to discuss such, please do so in our #server_feedback channel on our Discord after following the admin's request. 1. No racism, sexism, or discrimination of any sort will be tolerated Any such chat - whether in text chat, or over comms - will be met with administrative action. This includes offensive player or squad names. 2. Do not insult each other We understand that things can get hectic and in the heat of the moment, tempers may flare and arguments can happen, but this does not mean we'll tolerate an argument only escalating due to direct insults being flung back and forth. Try to keep the atmosphere on the server enjoyable. If you can't resolve it - drop it and play on. 3. Do not spam text chat or comms Spamming things over comms and disrupting the game, or clogging up text chat will be first warned for, then punished. 4. Do not recruit for your clan or advertise websites or streams on the server Self-explanatory - don't advertise for your own Discord / community / clan or try to recruit members while on the server. Don't advertise your stream, either. Don't advertise for things like skin gambling websites, either. This includes having a website as part of your nickname. 5. Don't ever intentionally team-kill, for any reason whatsoever - including in retaliation If you're intentionally team-killed (for example, after an argument), call the attention of an admin and let them handle it. Please apologise for any accidental TKs in all chat so admins know they were accidental. 6. Do not camp enemy main bases If your team manages to cap the enemy's last cap - defend that cap, but don't advance on the enemy's main base. This rule includes planting mines / IEDs too close to enemy main bases; as a rule of thumb, keep mines / IEDs 250m away from enemy main bases. Due to some maps being quite small compared to others, the closest allowed proximity of mines / IEDs to enemy mains may be relaxed a bit on maps like Sumari, where they are allowed right up 'till the "Checkpoint" cap zone. When in doubt, ask an admin. If an admin requests you to pull back with a vehicle that you're pinning the enemy's exits from their main base with, please do so - usually, the enemy team will be expected to use different exits from their main and adjust to the situation on the battlefield, but on some maps / layers, this can be problematic (think of Narva's RU main base location), and the admin team's first priority is always maintaining a decent level of gameplay and atmosphere on the server. 7. Squad Leaders are required to speak English, have a mic (and use it), and actively play for relevant objectives We expect SLs to cooperate with one another in command comms, and make an effort to lead their squad. We also expect them to not hinder the team by wasting assets trying to fight in areas not in play or relevant to the team's success (not active in or around attack / defense points or enemy FOBs, or on the way there) - the exception to this, of course, being smaller specialised squads like armour or mortar squads. 8. Do not make a squad unless you intend to lead it Don't make a squad, then leave it and make another - this doesn't help "seed" squads, but just causes chaos at the start of a match. Don't make a squad then pass off SL to someone else, either. Also, don't make a squad solely to get a certain kit. 9. Squad Leaders may kick anyone from their squad for any reason Please try to be civil when kicking people from your squad. If you're kicked from a squad, please don't argue about it, but join a different squad. If the reason you were kicked conflicts with one of our other server rules (racism / sexism / discrimination), please report it so the offending SL can be dealt with. 10. Do not lock your squad with less than 4 people in it The minimum size for general infantry squads is 4. Specialised squads may be smaller, but must be named according to their intended role or the assets they intend to claim. Examples of such squads that are allowed are a dedicated "LOGI" squad, a "MORTAR" squad, or an "SPG" / "30MM" / "WARRIOR" squad, which may all be smaller than 4 people. Vehicle squads must name their squad after the exact asset / asset class being claimed - "30MM" / "APC" is fine, "ARMOUR" / "VEHICLES" is not. Bear in mind that regardless of your intended squad size and purpose, you will still be expected to cooperate and communicate with other squads / the rest of your team, and that you should still be using your assets effectively (in reference to potential asset wastage). 11. Respect specialised, named squads - don't take claimed assets Specialised squads, such as squads named "LOGI", "BTR 30MM", "APC" or "IFV", have the first claim on the vehicles named. First come, first serve applies - if there are multiple specialised squads trying to claim the same vehicle(s), the first squad to have created their named squad's claim takes precedence. In the case of such squads being made within a very short time of one another, we expect SLs of these squads to fairly, and maturely come to an agreement concerning these assets. In the case of a squad claiming several assets to fulfill a defined role (such as APC transport, IFV support), we expect you to have enough people in your squad to properly man these vehicles. Please see the next rule for more on this. Please do not "hog" assets, and claim the same ones several rounds in a row; be a good sport and allow others a chance to use them in further rounds, also. We expect to not have to police this, so please be considerate of other players. 12. Do not one-man APCs and IFVs - these require a 2-man crew at all times - Techies and light transport / support vehicles (BRDM / MRAP) that don't require a crewman kit to operate may be 1-manned (this includes the Spandrel / TOW MRAP, and Insurgent AA truck). - APCs and IFVs require a 2-man crew (all variants, including MTLBs and Bulldogs). - MBTs require a 3-man crew (driver; gunner; commander). 13. Do not grief, troll, or waste assets Intentionally getting friendly assets destroyed, "throwing" a match, driving a logi truck into enemy-held territory, or having your entire squad head off to a part of the map entirely not in play to spend the whole match building a giant, pointless FOB together are all examples of behaviour that breaks this rule, as is negligent asset use (e.g. ignoring the map and driving into enemies with an APC). This includes deserting vehicles in the field, whether they're APCs / IFVs, or logi trucks - do not treat them as disposable; treat them as valuable assets to protect and make use of. 14. Do not share any sort of team intel with the enemy team This includes sharing friendly positions, ticket counts, or anything else that only your team knows / can see. 15. Abusing exploits to gain an advantage over others or using cheats of any sort will result in a ban Hiding in a rock that lacks player clipping so you can't get hit would be an example of abusing an exploit, as is hiding a radio inside another object. Use of cheats will be brought to the attention of OWI, and result in a full game ban. 16. Ghosting and stream sniping will be met with a permanent ban 17. Inactive / unassigned players will be kicked Please join a squad if you're unassigned. Unassigned players will be seen as AFK and kicked to make room for others, accordingly. Seeding rules If the server player count is lower than 40 players, the following seeding rules are also in effect. Once there are more than 40 players on the server, a broadcast will be put out stating the game is live. 1. Do not take out enemy HABs / FOBs Keep fighting to the middle caps. 2. Don't build FOBs / HABs on middle caps (as those will be fought over) 3. Do not use offensive vehicles Only use transport and logistics vehicles. 4. Do not use mortar tubes, HMG emplacements, or other offensive FOB emplacements Enjoy your time with us! Drop us a line if you have any concerns. Game on!
  12. Evening to all, It has been 2 months filled with desperation that was caused by the mostly frequent message on Squad "Server Closed Connection" that pulls me out of each game. The message appears sometimes 10 minutes after I join the server and from time to time it gives me a staggering 25-30 min of gameplay. I tried EVERYTHING, Fixed & re-installed the Anti Cheat thing, Emptied my cache in-game and deleted the folder (%localapp%), checked my firewall a thousand of times and finally, re-installed the game itself. All for nothing.. Shit still happens, Please, Have mercy on my delicate soul!
  13. Hi devs, I mark servers as favorite and they reset in every game launch. I would like to use favorite thing but it is broken. - palamies
  14. 100 vs 100?

So I have a couple of questions, to ask (I am probably not the first one asking this). I know currently in squad you can play 40 vs 40 max, and eventually 50 vs 50. I know all of the clients connect through UDP to the dedicated server wich is a lot of traffic. My question mainly is, where is the bottleneck? I asume its UE4 thats the bottleneck and if thats so could someone explain this to me in depth (don't hold back) whats happening and why? I never really worked with UE4 engine sadly. Will you get better results or preformance when you'd have everyone on a Local network accesing the dedicated server with the dedicated server also being on the same network? And are you able to increase the ammount of connected clients when preformance is indeed better? I personally don't think its the lack of hardware for a dedicated server because we got some insane fast tech these days but I could be wrong ofc. I would love to hear your answers P.S Apolegies for my bad spelling, my spellcheck is currently dutch only :c

  18. ~THUNDERDOME!~

Welcome to the Thunderdome! Established August, 2016 99.99% Uptime 80 Players, All maps, All modes Defend The Dome (DTD) exclusively played here! Defend the Dome mod - Download here Discord https://discord.io/thunderdome Server Rules: Racist, Sexist, Abusive Behavior, Hate Speech, Trolling, Ghosting, Griefing, Wasting Assests, Spamming, Exploiting and any use of Glitches, Exploits, and/or Hacks are strictly prohibited and will result in removal from the server. Offensive or lack of common sense user names will result in removal from the server. Any form of Advertising will be removed. Unassigned/AFK will be kicked. Overly-negative behavior and/or Disrespect towards anyone including our Admin's or Moderators will result in removal from the server. Players cannot exploit rules to prevent the enemy from utilizing the full extent of their arsenal. Any form of Intentional Team Killing will result in removal from the server. Main Spawn Area Rules: Squad has implemented a Main protection bubble for both sides. You can not shoot from inside out and the enemy cannot shoot into your spawn area. However there are small chances that the main spawn bubble is placed in a unlucky location that allows the enemy to prevent your team from leaving safely on certain maps. Camping Main is against our rules but its hard to determine what is close and what isn't based on objective locations. Admins and Moderators will decide based on the current map layer if this or any Main related rules are being broken or not. Squad Leaders must have an SL kit, a working mic and communicate with their team. Squad Leaders must have a minimum of two players in order to lock and a maximum of eight squads per team. To Rejoin after a server auto-kick or Admin/Moderator kick is a 5 minute timeout delay. No appeal needed, there is nothing we can do to shorten this wait. Vehicles are first come, first serve. Minimum tank crew is two. Solo'ing a tank is not allowed and will result in removal from the server. Seeding Rules are for less than 20v20. You cannot capture past the middle point(s). You must team death match over the middle flag(s). You cannot build a FOB/HAB on the middle point(s). No attacking, destroying, or disabling FOB/HAB and LOGI's. Once the server has reached 20v20 normal game rules apply. Admin/Moderators reserve the right to remove anyone from the server for any reason Ban Appeals, Complaints and/or Reporting Players are handled in our Discord (link above).
  19. I recently purchased and downloaded squad from steam. I have recently been enjoying the game without issue. However, for the last two days a crashing bug has prevented me from enjoying the game. During online gameplay (and never in the offline practice range mode), the game will randomly kick me off the server. I never team kill or flame in squad, and the crashes have happened on multiple servers so i am positive that the server admins are not kicking me themselves. The crashes are unpredictable but inevitable, and happen in between 20 minutes and 30 seconds of game play. This is obviously extremely frustrating so if anyone can help me that would be very appreciated. The error message given is; "Squad Server Closed Connection". This vague error message does not aid in the diagnosis of the problem. Specs Intel i7 7700 Nvidea GTX 1070 8GB RAM 1TB SSD I have extremely fast wifi, with excellent download/upload speeds and sub 30ms ping times, which i know through the stat fps function in the console. I am sure this is not a connection issue on my side. I have attempted to delete the squad appdata and validate through steam. I have uninstalled and reinstalled squad to no avail. I have followed all the steps in another guide somewhere on this forum to maximise pc performance but to no avail. I have never used hacks or mods in any game (never mind any Unreal game) so Easy anticheat is unlikely to interfere with the game but who knows
  20. Welcome to the The Coalition Server (EU). A server collaboration between Opposing Forces, Those Other Guys, Hussaria and Fire/Team. Info: The Coalition was formed in November 2018 by ToG, OpFor, HSR and F/T with the aim of creating a server that gives players the freedom to play in their own way and not be restricted by too many rules but use guidelines instead to keep the games balanced and fair. Discord : https://discord.me/thecoalition Website : https://joinsquad.ninja Squad Forum : http://forums.joinsquad.com/topic/34571-eu-the-coalition-server/ Donations: https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/89TQlG2g8t Rules: Play Fair - Anyone caught cheating, hacking, aimbotting, glitching or otherwise trying to counter the in-game physics or rules will be instantly banned and evidence shared with the wider community. Play Positive - Anyone caught intentionally sabotaging the teams objectives, including Intentionally TeamKilling, Spamming Voice Comms, wasting team assets etc will be heavily sanctioned. Play Together - Squad leaders must have and use microphones, no lone-wolfing, vehicles that require crewman kits require at least two people to operate, listen to your squad leaders orders. Failure to do so may result in a player being kicked. First named vehicle squad gets priority over that vehicle (e.g. TANK Squad, Logi Squad) Do not use Logistical Trucks as Taxis. Return them to main where possible (SLs are responsible for their usage).
  21. Dear OWI Team and server owners, since the WIKI doesn't reveal any information I'm curious what are the server requirements to smoothly run a 40vs40 server? For my startup I have a Linux(Ubuntu 16.04 LTS) test server that is idling most of the night hours so I'm thinking to maybe put it to good use but I'm not sure what requirements you have in terms of CPU Cores (virtual and dedicated) and RAM. Bandwidth is no issue on any of my servers. Thank you.
  22. Server Rules If in doubt, don't do it. No camping main, use your own initiative depending on map. Passive clan recruiting is allowed. This means if someone asks to join you, then that is fine; spamming chat/comms is not. Names must be pronounceable and be comprised from the Latin Alphabet. No intentional team killing except for glitches upon request. Apologize to the person you killed please. No cheating, hacking, bug exploitation or ghosting. This server supports free speech. Banter is allowed, but unwanted harassment is not. Please respect other players and take your issues with each other elsewhere. Squad Leaders MUST have a mic and communicate in English. No half-full squads unless specified in squad description (EG Mortars, BTR). Half-full squads will be asked to merge with other half-full squads. No being an arsehole. Do not conduct yourself in a way that will harm others' game play. During seeding, please fight over the middle two flags and do not approach FOB's/HAB's, use any combat vehicles, or emplacements. Seeding is in place when server is below 40 players or admin says otherwise. Squad leaders must make a reasonable effort to play the objectives. Any squad leader playing in poor spirit will be removed. No idling on the server. AFK players outside of seeding time will be asked to pick a squad or be kicked. Squad Leaders must have the SL kit. Vehicles requiring the Crewman kit must be manned by 2 Crewmen minimum. If you need admin help please go to our Discord, tag @Server Admin [MPs] in the #server-help channel with the with [Player Name] and [What offense is committed] on which [Team and Squad], if possible use evidence so admin will respond faster. Ban appeals can be made here. Donations for the server are always appreciated and can be made here: To find out more about our little group you can check out our forum post. Alternatively you can contact us through any of these platforms.
