In particular refrain from flaming, insulting, abusing, taunting, racism, and other similar types of actions towards other forum users. §2 Attitude & Behavior Poor attitude and behavior are the most common ways a negative / unsafe environment is created and perpetuated. As such that kind of behavior will not be allowed on these forums. Please be mindful of this rule when posting personal positions and opinions regarding topics which could be considered contentious in nature. As a rule of thumb, keep your posts civil in nature, and refrain from making posts that are likely to incite arguments and create a negative environment. As a privately hosted web forum we reserve the right to maintain an environment that we are happy the majority of our players are comfortable with. §3 Swearing While we will not strictly moderate every little swear that occurs, please try to avoid excessive bad language. The moderation reserves the right to remove rants and unsuitable content at any time. §4 Illegal Topics
Prohibited topics include, but are not limited to: Piracy, drugs (including cannabis), pornography, religion, racism, sexism, homo/trans -phobic content, videos and images showing violent death or serious injury, ‘spam threads’, hacking & griefing (endorsement thereof), religion, politics, etc. Prohibition may be suspended for some threads if they are found to be suitable by the Moderation (such as scientific debate).
If there is doubt, the Moderation Team can decide whether a topic is considered illegal. §5 Attitude towards Squad and the Development Team
As per §1 and §2, keep in mind to be respectful and reasonable, not only towards all users of the forum, but also towards the Squad Team and towards any ideas and content and the game itself. Criticism is welcome, but if it is not constructive and/or if it is offensive, the Moderation may need to step in. Please refrain from posting if you are upset, angry or drunk, or you may be punished for things you wouldn’t have otherwise written, which is not in anyone's interest. §6 Language & Legibility
Please post only in English. Non-English content (including non-legible content) may be removed. If you see someone posting in another language because s/he apparently does not speak English, please report their post - if you can, you may reply in their language to explain their question, but please do translate their and your message so it can be reviewed by the Moderation. ‘Hiding’ insults in non-English posts will be punished harshly. Please ensure when posting a new thread, that the thread is located inside the correct forum section. Check all forum section titles to judge where your thread should belong. Threads created in the wrong forum section will be moved or deleted.

§10 Images in posts

It is allowed to use the BBCode in your posts. Over usage is not allowed. You may use the Bold in a reasonable manner but not for the whole text body. There is a Post Report system in place. If you notice a post that violates forum rules, simply use the exclamation mark icon below the users avatar image to send a report to the Moderation. We will then review this post. Your report will not be made public and cannot be linked to your person by anyone outside of the Squad Team. You will not be punished for using the Report system even if the report was false, unless you repeatedly abuse the system to spam it.
Do not ‘report’ posts by replying directly in public to them. In case of spambots, this prompts them to respond in turn, spamming the forum further. This also fuels flame wars and arguments. §2 Reporting Moderators
Moderators are subject to the same forum rules (and some additional rules / exceptions). Hey, I have an issue with Squad. Every single time I open the spawn in screen, my game crashes and I get an Unreal Engine error. I used to play Squad perfectly fine, but only recently have I gotten this error. I have tried EVERYTHING. I have tried to reinstall the game and sit through the painfully slow download of 500kb/s, I have tried to reinstall Easy Anti Cheat, I have tried to delete Squad's config, I have tried running in compatibility mode, I have tried running it as an administrator. I have tried absolutely everything under the planet. I find this bull as you should not have so many troubles just trying to launch a game. I have another issue that when I try to join a server, once joined fully, I automatically get kicked and go to the main menu with no kick message whatsoever. Please help me as soon as possible, I have wasted way too much of my time trying to fix this god damn issue. Greetings. This is the second time I ran into this problem, the game just won't simply launch at all, last time it happened I solved it just by rebooting my PC, this time I have tried clearing the cache, deleting the Squad folder located in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Squad, reinstalling the game but to no avail. Everything goes fine until I get to the intro movie (wich doesn't play), the status of the game on Steam changes from "running" to "syncing" and then it closes, no troubleshooting, nothing. Whilst playing this morning, my game crashed back to the desktop, but there was no error, or any sign that it was going to crash (freezing, stuttering, etc) - it just closed down instantly and with no warning, as though I'd hit Alt+F4. I had probably been playing about 20 minutes or so. I restarted no problem, and rejoined the same server. All seemed well, then after about another 10-15 minutes, exactly the same thing happened. I restarted again and cleared my app data (haven't done that since the update). Joined a different server, and was able to play for a good couple of hours, so I figured it was just a data issue. But then, about 10-15 minutes into an Insurgency round of Chora, it happened again - just as the SL was throwing an incendiary into the cache in front of me. I have kept the log file from the second time it happened, and from the most recent time. In both cases, it appears to have been a fatal error relating to "Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address...." I am running an overclocked CPU, however it appears to be completely stable. It's done a couple of Prime95 runs with no issue, and the temperature maxed out at 70 degrees while playing - warm, but nothing to worry about, and it hit higher peaks while running Prime for longer periods with no issues or errors. If it's of any relevance, the first crash happened on Chora, and the second was Logar Valley. Between those crashes I played full rounds on both Operation First Light and Narva - I only mentioned that in case perhaps there's an asset in the desert maps which might have caused the failure. Anyone have any ideas? I've saved the log files in case they are any use. Below are extracts from the final part of each log where the Unhandled Exception was recorded. Happy to share the full log files if needed. System specs: CPU: Intel i7 3770K 3.5GHz (OCed to 4.2GHz @ ~1.170v) GPU: Radeon RX480 RAM: 8Gb Kingston DDR3 @ 1600MHz Mobo: Asus P8Z68-V Running on Windows 10 64bit @ 1920x1080p. I was playing earlier today just fine, went to launch again - Crashes every time I load into a map. No matter what server. Cleared my cache, deleted the Squad folder in AppData, verified my game files through steam. I've been having this problem for a while, even before 9.6, but after the update I can't play a full match without Squad suddenly closing as if I had pressed [Alt+F4]. No error messages pop up. The logs themselves have more errors and warnings than normal processes. Yes, I've verified Steam files, reinstalled Dx, cleared local cache data, etc. One warning in particular that occurs every time is a "LogParticles:Warning: Stalled gamethread waiting for particles" that has to do with "BTR80_Temperature_Parameterized.BTR80_Temperature_Parameterize" on every map. I've also submitted support tickets but haven't gotten any feedback, so I'm posting here too. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is for me easily Reproducible by simply loading into the game itself again. I have verified game integrity, re-installed, deleted my cache, and explored a few other options such as drivers, windows updates and not changing my settings after re-installation. I do not have any idea if this was a problem before/after the latest patch, as I installed it last night as well as reinstalled it because of this on-going issue. Everytime I try to to join a server the game forces me back to the main menu. So I tried to get to the firing range and everytime the spawn screen pops up and I press enter I get an UE4 crash. Of course I tried to fix this problem by doing every troubleshooting guide but nothing worked for me. The strange thing is that squad worked very well in it`s earlier versions. pls help me I`m quite upset now.
