  1. I would like to delete my account here but I'm not sure how to do it. Any suggestions?
  2. Beginning of the round, 3 helicopters flying next to each other, the sun is coming up, war is about to begin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKQwgpaLR6o Going into battle with Humvee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAJ4-Ey7jBM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqJDLzIXDps My taste is definitely different from most posters here
  3. Change the name of the game

Try to search "squad gameplay" on youtube and filter on date. You wont see a single Squad video in the first few pages. The word is simply too broad.
  4. When I look for "Squad" on youtube i get an incredible amount of irrelevant info same goes for any other search engine, when I want to find this website I type in "squad project reality" because I don't know how else to find it. The name of the game is not specific or unique enough and it might cause the game not to stand out in peoples minds. Let's say you want to look for newest videos on youtube for Squad, how would you do it?
  5. I agree with RaTzo. I just played PR and had to walk a long time, at least looking at the map made it semi enjoyable, but we can't go too much into the ArmA direction or you'll just make the game have more boring moments than not, and that's where it loses appeal. I would say, keep the maps, and I would also say (from the videos on youtube iv seen) change the maps to be more like PR. You tried to make the maps more "realistic" but I find the battlefield maps really nice to look at. Does a "satellite" image map take away from the game? I don't think so, we've already thrown out the "total realism" trope, so why not stick with what looks/feels better? Which a satellite map is imo.
  6. First of all I don't think it takes you away from being immersed in the game. Let's say it does for some people, isn't it amazing though to have such an overview of whats happening on the map at each point? Where other teams are moving etc etc... I love that overview of the whole situation at any given point and not having it would severely debilitate my game sense. Its a very gamified element but one that makes the game less frustrating and more fun. Let's say we change it. We could give the SL's maps only, they would get the entire overview and as such have to coordinate their squad, SL's would become even more indispensable and playing as a lonewolf even more impossible as you would simply get lost. The lack of broad overview of the situation would push squad mates to trust the SL and do what he says even more as they recognize the vast amount of knowledge he is operating on. Let's say the SL want's to coordinate an attack what he could do is unfold the map for the entire squad to see, this would be an animation, it would take some time and it would leave the team vulnerable. This could however take a lot of fun out of the game for those who aren't SL's as their experience of the game suddenly becomes limited to the immediate things on the screen. It can cause a feeling of being disorientated, which is more realistic but could be frustrating...? Some people would split from the team and get lost etc.. It would certainly bring a lot of interesting dynamics to the game and the skill level needed to operate efficiently would go up significantly.
