  1. ticket count in AAS too high

    In V13 ticket bleed is brought back, so rounds will go quicker.
  2. What FOV are you using

    90 is best for me.

    Talil and Yeho RAAS. I usually lead a mechanized infantry squad, sometimes i work with another squad, and one of us takes infantry while the other takes the apc's, and we go in together.

    Sorry but this is not a bug that can be recreated by the devs, so they can't easily fix it. I have the same gpu, and no issues. This is most likely an issue somewhere on your end, not the game's end.
  5. V13 Optics

    Squad's balance works in different ways than most games. It's supposed to be kind of unbalanced, balanced out by ticket count, speed, different tactics etc... On Al Basrah, the insurgents can lock down all bridges, and cut off supply lines by blowing up logistics trucks behind the lines. This is their best way to win against the OP British forces, who mostly have optics, and heavy vehicles.

    There are plenty of ways to counter optics with iron sights. While they might have the advantage in longer ranges, iron sights are better at close quarter combat, which is what a lot of the objectives have plenty of.

    Sorry but no, it does have it's advantages, but it's a litteral cheat, it's so exploitable it's ridiculous. There's literally no effort involved on your squad's end for placing it. Fobs become barely useful at all, except when you're out of ammo, but with riflemen or an apc nearby, ammo isn't an issue either, making fobs useless most of the times. This rally system breaks the game, a whole team can instantly respawn around a single squad leader's rallypoint out of nowhere, instantly overwhelming the opposing squad without any planning, effort, even playing the game inbetween. For me personally there's not a single reason to even consider having it in.

  10. Alpha 13 Public Test, Round 1

    A Fog-of-War element has been added to all RAAS layers. I love you guys for finally implementing this, this is something i've been wanting even for regular AAS since like 2016. Random AAS now has Lanes added to all RAAS_v1 map layers. Seems legit. Ticket bleed has been added back to all AAS and RAAS gameplay layers. I know a big group of people who wanted this, i myself don't care too much, but this might bring back some of the old competetive community (who keep whining that they want V9 back). The opposing team will start bleeding tickets if you will successfully capture at least one objective on the enemy side of the flag lattice. For each objective on the enemy part of the map, controlled by your team, the enemy will lose 1 ticket per minute. Seems good, not too excessive like it was back in V9. Added the ability for Squad Leaders to place rally points remotely next to other squad’s Rally Points. This one i really don't like the sound of. I understand the waiting time between combat moments can be a bit boring, but it makes the actual combat more exciting. I honestly do not believe this is a good thing. REMOVAL OF THE INSTA-DEATH PENALTY TIMER ON REVIVE Will have to wait and see how this goes tbh. The FTL markers will have their Rangefinding function removed. Thank you. Removed the ‘Map Pinging’ feature that squad mates could use to send their SL a ping by right clicking on the map I kind of like the feature, but i can see why it didn't exactly encourage the proper teamwork Squad wants to have. MORTAR / 30MM / 120MM HE DAMAGE RANGE INCREASE Thank you, finally! BTR-82A & BTR-80 Thank you. Increased non-ADS standing movement speeds by 10% Will have to wait and see how this one plays out, 10% isn't all that notable tbh, so it might just be fine. Increased visual ‘z-axis’ recoil animation, increasing the visual kick back towards the camera. Does this do anything for the player?

    This is never how it's supposed to be, most people can just play. Any crash logs or anything to show?

    No way, that would make cutting off supplylines nearly useless. Afaik it's been tried and people didn't like it.

    What are you talking about? The founder skins are nothing like that, and they're for an exclusive group.

    Luckily in V13 the engineer class can get rid of wrecks, should be less of an issue then.

  18. Squad is dead or not ?

    Why would they care about you not playing Squad untill Fallujah's release? Why would anyone in general care? Fallujah is a massive map, i've made some maps for games, and it takes a long damn time to do so, one as detailed and big as Fallujah i could never imagine trying myself.

    Yeah we really need a ladder animation, i've been hoping it would be a small thing before full release.
  20. Game needs non owned servers

    There are already a bunch of those no-rules servers, no need for the devs to host them, if you want to play on em, make sure they get populated.
  21. Gun Sounds

    I personally think the US gun sounds were improved a lot, they actually sound like they shoot bullets instead of paintballs.

    Could try to change it in the game options, i think name tags can be turned on and off.

    I think the new gun sounds are much better, they pack more of a punch than before, and sound louder imo. Anyways, gun sounds might change untill full release, i kinda doubt the current ones will be here forever. EDIT: I guess this video is a good comparison?
