  1. After reading through the thread, yeah makes sense. There should be a single click on the AK when out of ammo. Haven't used that platform enough IRL to know if it sounds different on the last shot though. At least with my AR (Stag-15L) it definitely sounds and feels different on the last shot. The sound of the shot sounds more... flat, it I had to put a word on it. As for the trigger, it doesn't make a click more like a hollow clacking noise because the trigger can move but is not disengaging anything.
  2. Just kinda bumping for more visibility, and would like to hear what some of the newcomers and people who have been playing might think. Trying to figure out what you mean here. Like bolt hold on the AR platform? Cause every M4/16 mag will do that, well any decent one. Maybe I am not understanding what you mean?

    Just a heads up guys, 1080p falls under the 2k res category. "2K resolution is a generic term for display devices or content having horizontal resolution on the order of 2,000 pixels" I have issues hitting at range as well, mainly due to how small people seem (I play at 1440p) that and it seems everything in the distance is blurry. And the sights feel off to me for some reason, can't put my finger on it though. However the ACOG definitely needs adjusting, the reticle is way too big. But this weekend felt pretty good, had some fun even though there is some hitreg issues.

    Yes please! I like to have my ADS slower than my standard look speed. This would be immensely helpful for my aiming. And yes please make it toggleable or lock to each other for those that like it that way.

    Some things I would love to see, but don't really see a real reason what they would bring to the table. But I think they are pretty Mk12 Mod 1, for a designated marksman role. Mk18 Mod 1, for and M4 alternative. ...and maybe an An-94, because 1800RPM burst
  6. While not absolutely necessary, I think it could be a really cool unique feature. It would add a lot more depth when thinking about reloading. You would have to make the decision if you want to keep the mag for use later or discard it because you really need a new mag in. They could also take it one step further and make it more interesting by having a limited packed magazines amount in ammo drops, but much more loose ammo. Making having your empty mags on you helpful. While I think that would be cool, personally I think it would be a little too much.
  7. I had this idea several years ago for Arma 2 ACE and figured I would also share it here. I have always had an issue with the way reloads are handled in FPS' in that they provide the user with no choice in the way they want to reload and are pretty unrealistic, usually you are stuck with a slow animation in the middle of taking contact... it sucks. With this system the player will be able to make the choice in what reload they want to use in any given situation, giving thought and depth to reloading. Have 4 different types of reload and animations.1. (By Pressing R Once - Magazine Not Empty - Long Reload) Soldier pulls out magazine from vest and does a tactical reload and replaces magazine in vest(Can be refilled with loose ammunition, magazine is in inventory for later use {Also +1 Round})2. (By pressing R twice {or more} - Magazine Not Empty - Fast Reload) Soldier drops magazine from weapon on to the ground and inserts new one (Used magazine does not go back into inventory {Also +1 Round} - In game object, can be picked up)3. (By Pressing R Once - Magazine Empty - Long Reload) Soldier pulls out magazine from pouch and does a tac reload and replaces magazine in dump pouch - Uses bolt catch or racks bolt{Dependent on weapon} (Can be refilled with loose ammunition, empty magazine is in inventory for later use)4. (By pressing R twice {or more} - Magazine Empty - Fast Reload) Soldier drops magazine from weapon to the ground and inserts new one - Uses bolt catch or racks bolt {Dependent on weapon} (Used magazine does not go back into inventory/dump pouch - In game object, can be picked up) Anywho, can't wait for this game!
