I've been playing this game for 7 or 8 years now, started somewhen shortly before 0.7 came out.
After playing a couple of rounds and taking a break for a couple of weeks, I came back to PR and it seemed to be dead. There weren't any servers up anymore = no PR.
I started to lose hope in the game and was about to uninstall when I found out that it had simply been updated to 0.7.
It didn't take very long for me to get my first PERM BAN aswell,... I teamkilled a dude for his sniper kit and then tried to ride off in a tank (yup, I've been there....)
That's when I realized that the PR community took the game extremly serious and I really admired that.
That's also when I started to know the game better and better and got into my first jet,... which I crashed on takeoff -> PERM BAN....
but hey, everybody started as a bloody noob once, right?
Everything seemed so perfect. The teamwork, the communication between every player, the intense firefights, the marches over the whole map for almost half an hour because all Transport helicopters got shot down, the countless hours spent shoveling fobs, the explosions and all that random chatter before the action..... It was such an experience getting into the game.
You can learn so much for life from this game
I'm hooked ever since and I really dont plan on stopping anytime soon. PR is a drug, a pretty damn good one aswell.
I'm currently running a small Youtube channel with it's main Focus on Project Reality.
I'm mostly uploading funny, chaotic & sometimes more serious gameplay and montages of PR but I'm also making a couple of videos of other games.
This will change a little as soon as I'm getting my hands on Squad

Well that's it for me.
