  6. Seeing as there's really no gore except blood, I think the addition of death animations would be cool. I don't mean how Red Orchestra does it, with your screen slowly fading to black and stumbling around. They would just be third-person animations that's triggered upon death under certain circumstances, that quickly blend into a ragdoll at the end of them. Dying would still be the same; this isn't a new mechanic, it's simply a visual thing. Some examples.. Getting shot in the upperbody- There would be many variations of this, such as your character gripping his chest/stomach/etc in pain and eventually falling over (blending into ragdoll), falling on his knees john marston style, etc. Getting shot in the lowerbody- Again, many variations of this, such as your character gripping his knees and whatnot,, as well as gripping his dick in pain. Headshots- I don't think there should be an animation for this. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Now, my other suggestion that I wanted to mention- bullet force. When a bullet impacts a character and he dies, especially headshots, there should be a bit of impact force; the ragdoll should be "pushed" violently so it looks like he actually got shot, it adds a ton to the immersion; seeing your friend getting headshotted infront of you shouldn't be pretty. Right now the ragdolls are a bit like Insurgency's, which isn't really a good thing.
  7. How do mods in UE4 work?

    What I mean by this, what would be uploaded to steam workshop/uploaded to be downloaded when it comes to publishing a finished mod? Let's say your making a new faction, would the setup of the stuff you'd be uploading be like mod/factions/ etc and whatnot? Hopefully you know what I mean.
  8. What factions are you planning for this map? If you're planning custom ones, I think some sort of Asian terror group would fit, could just call it "Pacific Militia" or "Pacific Insurgents". Unless it's set in Africa, then something based off of Boko-Haram would be fitting. As for the other team, I don't know, depends on the location the map is suppose to be in.
  9. Wouldn't be too bad to have, but the icon on the enemy shouldn't follow him but rather the icon stay in the posistion where the squad leader spotted him for a few seconds.

  12. -malloc=system and cpucount as well as -nomansky and -winxp I know gave me a boost in FPS, I already used these. I'm gonna try the other ones I didn't list
