  1. Sounds like you could go with the dedicated server approach and then get your server licensed that way. Obviously you would require some sort of technical knowhow if you would want to run your own server, but given the prices of 80 slot servers currently (~80-90$) it is a valid alternative. I'm from Europe and here you can get a good Intel Core i7-4770 (~4Ghz) dedicated server for 42$/m (+25 if you want to use Windows) which would allow you to run 3-4 Squad servers at the same time. If you want to run a 80 players server you will need a very high per-core cpu frequency, around 4Ghz+ is usually fine.
  2. licence problem server

I'm not sure, but it could be they revoked the license because it was inactive for too long.
  3. licence problem server

What error message did you get? Also did you make sure that you copied the entire key into the License.cfg (also check that it doesn't have any trailing characters).
  4. List of active clans and communities

Name: 51st Regiment Tag: |51st| Link: 51stRegiment.com Language: English Description: We are a Holdfast: NaW linebattle regiment with a strict command structure. Recently a lot of our members have been amazed by Squad and we therefor decided to fire up a server and join this wonderful community as well. Members: ~25 in Squad (~200 in Holdfast) We also play: Holdfast: NaW, Mount & Blade, EU4, HoI4, CoH2, R6
  5. I was setting up a Squad server yesterday and noticed that there hasn't been a proper Docker image around, yet. So here you go: https://hub.docker.com/r/cm2network/squad/ If you want to host a Squad server and you are running Docker; just type this: docker run -d --net=host --name=squad-dedicated cm2network/squad And you are done (no need to creep through that line by line tutorial). The container will automatically update the game on startup, so if there is a game update just restart the container. If you don't know what Docker is follow this link: https://www.docker.com/
  6. Server affinity

Is it an actual 8 core server or did you mean 8 logical cores? I use a i7-6700 which has 4 cores, so 8 logical processors in total. If I want to run something on Core 4 & its' multithreading core I simply use: start "Squad Gameserver" /affinity C0 [...] Which is equivalent to your 0x0C0, I am however not sure if you need "PREFERPREPROCESSOR = CPU Affinity (Optional) UNTESTED". Get rid of that and try to run it with "OS-side" affinity only. As for the RCON, there is a seperate config file for that, check: https://squad.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration#Rcon_control_in_Rcon.cfg
