  1. 4k runs like poop.

    Thanks! Damn these GPUs!
  2. So, now i've been playing squad for quite some time on my 4k tv ( i know, its not a monitor ) in 1080p for a solid 60fps, but really want to run 4k solid 60fps. Anyone with computer smarts be able to shoot in some suggestions? i got everything maxed, except Super sampling - 1.25 Distant shadows off Motion blur off ps, i literally slapped this PC together to play this game, had no idea what i was doing... lmao. 3. Lately I've been having an issue with every time i go to start squad, i need to " update " squad to the most recent version, meanwhile i was just playing it, lets say a few hours ago.... Anyone else experience this issue?
  4. Requirements

I'll still upgrade it, I'll need to eventually when I get another graphics card.. The graphics I got now are good enough for a bit.
  5. Requirements

So to me, it looks like my cpu is fine.

  7. Requirements

So it seems like my CPU runs it fine... ill upgrade it anyways... i got a new motherboard on the way.. ill see how everything runs after i get all my parts in.. might have to get a second graphic card.... eventually lol. Should've just gotten a 1080 ti lol, would've been cheaper.
  8. Requirements

It's only my gpu that's at 100% steady. Cpu is at 50% currently.
  9. Requirements

Got my graphic card, 1070ti the game almost runs on max graphics already, 30-40 fps. Excited for my processor and ram ( and motherboard) to get here.. Then I should be able to put max graphics on.. Thank you for the help.
  10. Requirements

for the CPU cooler, i should have room for sure to fit one in, considering that's the middle and nothing is there anyways, its just the motherboard that's going to need the room to fit. http://tinypic.com/m/k34ub4/4
  11. Requirements

I was just showing my old list that i was going to get. i am going for the second one. MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC Micro ATX Motherboard with Intel 8th Gen Core i5-8600K Processor. gunna wait till christmoose to roll around and see if some deals can come out. looked at the z270.. seems a bit bigger, i don't got much room to play with, M11AD the type, my current motherboard almost fills it.
  12. Requirements

I appreciate it... & you're right.. i should go along with what you're saying to get.. there's not much of a difference at all in prices, except i'd still have to add in a fan for the build you're talking about... plus with what you're saying to get, i'd get away a lot longer without ever having to upgrade again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Intel 7th Gen Core i7-7700K Desktop Processor + fan --------- $ 411.84 Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 .---------$264.20 MSI Gaming Intel B250 LGA 1151 DDR4 HDMI micro-ATX Motherboard -----------$119.04 Total: -------- $795.08 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Intel 8th Gen Core i5-8600K Processor ---------- $339.00 MSI Z370M GAMING PRO AC Micro ATX Motherboard ------------ $204.99 Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 .---------$264.20 Total: -------- 808.19 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
  13. Requirements

okay, i figured out its a ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 1066 LGA 1150 Motherboard H81M-K And like you said, they're all the same thing, the spec sizes seem a little different when shopping around. mines 24.9 x 5.1 x 22.9 cm. all the other ones are a bit bigger.. the one i am looking at is 28 x 27.2 x 6.5 cm that is a MSI Gaming Intel B250 LGA 1151 DDR4 HDMI micro-ATX Motherboard (B250M GAMING PRO) from what i am reading, as long as its a " Micro ATX or mATX or m-ATX" it will fit though? If so, ill buy one of those, then slap a Intel 7th Gen Core i7-7700K Desktop Processor and Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 . oh computer, how you love to make me look an idiot. ahaha BTW, thank you again for your help and patients..
  14. Requirements

ASUS H81M-E LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard is the motherboard i got now.
  15. Requirements

so even if i took the easy way, without upgrading my motherboard and just slapping in a 7700k wouldn't do? id really need to get DDR4? i am looking into this myself also right now.. i am trying to learn loooool.. may as well say I've never touched a computer before and i am 100% new.. i've never actually modded a PC... I've only purchased them. i know earlier i said i am not worried about money, but if i upgrade to 8th gen and make everything else compatible that's gunna be in the thousand + dollar range... which for one game. i am not really willing to put in. ( i only play Project Reality and now trying Squad. ) I shall keep browsing to see what i can make my PC into, i played squad for a bit, so i will not give up on it... just probably wont shell out 1.5k to play it, I've got four, my graphics card takes two out of the four slots. but it does't really look i can shove anything else in there, unless thats with a motherboard switch out. and my power supply is 500w its a EVGA 500B.. so i was figuring the 7700k would just slap into my motherboard since its not 8th gen. from what i did read somewhere it should work? How i hate being illiterate in a subject. frustrating
