  2. Season one of the Level Gaming 40v40 community tournament has kicked off! However, it's not too late to signup and get in on the action if you're looking for organized competitive Squad. You can sign up as an individual (no team needed), or as a group of friends/clanmates We balance the registered users onto 2 teams, Red & Blue Both teams have an assigned captain to organize their respective team Battles are every Saturday at 1PM eastern Season lasts 7 weeks (1 map / 2 rounds) Winning team will have an opportunity to win a Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum - http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g933-7-1-surround-sound-gaming-headset Tournament is open to both North American and European players Register and join the discord channel here - level.gg This event is unlike any other existing Squad competition due to its structured nature mixing players from all teams, communities and geographic locations. The 40v40 tournament involves two teams, Red versus Blue each led by a team captain. Level has its own private battle server and each side is provided their own private discord channel to discuss strategies. Level is not a clan, so being in a clan is not a problem. Just bring your clanmates along for the ride! Tournaments, or seasons, are the heart of Level. A season generally lasts between 5-8 weeks where every Saturday a battle takes place for approximately 2 hours. At the end of the day the teams score up to two points that go toward ultimately crowning a season champion.

  6. Absolutely it's possible but this isn't All Points Bulletin. The fact that this is Alpha and it has free cam tools is shocking considering most big releases don't come with any spectator tools in their full release to allow for in-game monitoring.
  7. Level Gaming - Squad Up Military Charity Event

Looks like we're getting a lot of communities and teams registering up on the website. Don't let your team miss out on this event!
  8. In all honesty if you're concerned that your losses are the outcome of a cheater then you're playing the wrong game. This game provides more dynamic aspects than almost any other fps out there so there's no need for a witch hunt every round. If it bothers you that much it's your decision to stay away from any competitive events.
  9. A few things to consider: First, it depends on your definition of "outcome". A cheater decides to one tap 3 people in a CSGO match, it's 5v2. A cheater decides to do the same thing in a Squad match vs two squads, it's 18v15. The scales have tipped I agree but the percentage is drastically different. Second, an "intelligent" cheater will not expose himself by wiping an entire team off a flag and if he does red flags will go off on the opposing team to the point of investigation (it's also pretty obvious on the scoreboard and caster free cam). If a team is playing well (using armor, moving properly as a unit) the cheater that decides to 1 tap 3 or 4 people will eventually get mowed down and the team advances. Third, several of the map variations require two captured points to be maintained before you can capture the next objective. A person cannot be on two flags at once especially with the amount of distance between them and given the sheer volume of the teams it's pretty hard to stop momentum once you gain it on a flag. I do agree that it can affect the game, absolutely. I just don't agree that we're talking about an impact that will control every battle especially if he's trying to conceal his malice attempts. The outcome is determined by momentum and strategy, not flick shots and dolphin diving.
  10. Not all competitive matches are played with 100% legitimacy especially when there's ego and prizes on the table. However, with the scale of Squad an undetected cheater on a team shouldn't turn the tide of a battle like a competitive fast paced shooter such as Counter Strike. I've dealt with hackers both in the small 5v5 competitive scene as well as the large scale 30v30 battle events that I've organized and eventually those players get caught and banned. But I've never crowned a victor where the entire community felt like there should be an asterisk next to it. Suspicion spreads pretty fast and it's easy to start monitoring the grey area especially with the free cam cast tool and other available source outlets. Sure, with additional tools and analytics it would be easier and faster to spot those individuals I 100% agreed. But with Squad I don't think it's as big of a concern to ensure a battle isn't completely controlled by a cheater given the sheer numbers and spread out maps.
  11. I've found your SOLUTION! The answer to your critical points 2-3, as of Friday has come to fruition. Level Gaming will be an unbiased arena and plans to run a military charity event with mixed teams to kick off it's brand. Level has brought all these concerns to light in a game (Battlefield 3 and 4) that had very little support from the developers and ran several successful seasons (over 10,000 unique users in a year) through those varying versions of Battlefield. However with the support of this non-toxic, fantastic community and other forces your dream can happen. If you're interested in seeing how things turn out, feel free to sign-up for the Squad Up Military Charity event and be apart of something with a good cause. Participants that are solo players, a small group of buddies or a part of a large community are all eligible. All the information is posted up at http://level.gg/
