  3. Eastern European vehicle prop Input

I actually really want to buy one of these myself in the future! Great input so far guys, thanks for the help!
  4. Eastern European vehicle prop Input

Authentic modern. Vehicles like the Lada are great for smattering around and having in more rural areas, however I think most vehicles in more urban areas are more modern.
  5. Eastern European vehicle prop Input

Hey everyone! I'm currently in the process of starting some Eastern European/Russian civilian vehicle props. Now I have not visited this part of the world (although I hope to in the near future), and for the sake of authenticity I thought I'd reach out for some input on common vehicles seen in this part of the world. Of course I tried looking around google maps but I am no car expert so I couldn't tell what was what! Help would be appreciated, it'll help me keep these props authentic. A mixture of modern/older cars would be great. Cheers guys!
  6. I personally am very disillusioned with SnK/AoT. I have heard they are really pushing for the manga to be a long-term serialization, rather than a nice clean epic storyline. I'll approach this one with caution. I still need to finish ERASED from last season though!
  7. Feedback on map idea

Chernobyl/Pripyat. I don't know if we'll do any photogrammetry (it's time consuming and it depends on the weather) but we'll definitely be taking reference photographs at the very least.
  8. Feedback on map idea

A few of the developers are going for a personal trip there next month, funnily enough. I plan on hiring a bunch of quality photography equipment, including a good fisheye to make some HDR cubemaps. I'll be sure to shoot you the results for reference!
  9. Developer Diary - London Trip

    A couple of group photographs!
  10. Developer Diary - London Trip

Hi everyone! As you may know, some of the developers took a trip to London to recently to celebrate our successful launch on Steam Early Access. This includes the event we organised at the Meltdown eSports bar which we invited you to join us at! We thought we would share what we got up to with you all. First up, we visited the Imperial War Museum. Here you can see Motherdear, Tim and Drav looking very lovely next to a piece of the Berlin Wall. Inside, we may or may not have been collecting reference photographs.... Here the guys are working hard on Squad next to the Thames Working very, very hard... Then we moved on to Meltdown, a paradise where you can have a brewski and play video games We started by giving the guys a sneak preview of things we are working on (jealous?) Then onto gaming! TheTacticalBrit judging Motherdear's every move. More gaming Group photographs in my post below! Special thanks to the guys who turned up, it was great meeting you. It was truly awesome to meet some of the people playing our game. Also to Meltdown for having us! Hopefully we can do something like this again in the future.
  11. Come share a drink with some of the devs!

Oh yeah, it's possible we may be giving out exclusive Squad dog tags at this event ;)
  12. Come share a drink with some of the devs!

One thing to bear in mind is the DJ night, you might not be able to communicate well, and I'd have to check with meltdown that it's okay as well.
  13. Hi everyone! To celebrate our successful early access launch, a few members of the team are meeting up to have a drink in London. Then we thought, why not get you guys down with us? So we came up with a plan. We are going to meet in London's only eSports bar - Meltdown! There will be PCs preloaded with Squad, so we can share in a drink and a few rounds! We'll meet at 15:00 and keep drinking until it's late. Later in the night Meltdown is having a DJ night, so the atmosphere will have more of a party vibe (I hope they play sandstorm!) We're a lovely bunch, and we'd love to meet some of the people playing the game we work so hard on. The devs coming include: Myself - Environment Tim - Art Motherdear - Programming Drav - Environment Melbo - Military Advisor This event will begin at 15:00 on Saturday the 30th of January at Meltdown, 342 Caledonian Road, London. If you are going to come, please PM me and let me know so we can get an idea of the numbers.

  15. Any Squad players in Brighton/Hove?

Please stop messaging me offering me sexual favours in return for secrets about Squad! I simply will not do it!
