  2. List of active clans and communities

Name: 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit - Mil-Sim Tag: [26th MEU]Link: Language: EnglishDescription: Mil-Sim Group focused on USMC culture and communityMembers: 14 and looking to grow We also play: Arma and Rainbow Six. (Primarily squad based community, but have played other games as a group just for fun.)
  3. We've had a fair amount of interest at this time. We are also apart of an interunit group of other Mil-Sim groups across both Arma and Squad. Even if we don't have large numbers we can always link up with similarly associated groups.
  4. Hello all, just a suggestion, i'd like to see squad marker locations on the large map. Just as you as a squad leader can place a "green" fob marker to mark where you would like a fob to be placed, I'd like the ability to simply put down a "orange number" See image as example. This would be a small addition, but would have multiple uses As an example, this orange marker could be utilized to mark a vehicle they are going to claim during the staging portion of the match. Or it can be utilized to mark where a squad is heading to notify other squads of their intent. Particularly useful during the beginning planning where individuals can mark which squads are heading to which cap zone. Currently squad leaders use either "enemy marksman markers" or some other overlay to to inform other squads where they are going, or what they are claiming. Secondly , i'd like to suggest something i've noticed while using Task force radio in Arma, this has also been suggested before. When you are near someone speaking over the radio, but are not on their channel, you can hear them speaking locally next to you, but you cannot hear the receiving radio transmission. (Presumably because they have head sets on) This would greatly increase immersion, as we could hear a SL tell his squad mates, "standby i'm going to confirm with two that they are having no issue pushing the objective or require assistance." Then if you are near the squad leader you would hear over local. As an example: "2 This is 1, do you need assistance" "2 responds, but you cannot hear what they are saying" "Good to go 2, we'll continue to push onto the next cap" This would greatly enhance immersion, as in real life you can hear someone on the radio right next to you. I would suggest this also get pushed to anyone using a radio near you. You could hear their transmission, but you can't hear what they are saying back to them on the other end, unless of course you're on the same radio frequency as them. (Squad or SL channels)

  6. 1st Infantry Division

    You discord link has expired.
  7. (Bump) Updated description to include more clear description of unit, and mission statement.
  8. Updated last category of positions to now include applicants whom have combat arms experience. Updated recon applicants to be open to all individuals.
  9. I need help

I don't know if this is their organization, but you may try to reach out to them here:
  10. Updated Recruiting information Combat Logistic Battalion positions are available to all applicants.
  11. Updated Recruiting information: Seeking sailors qualified as FMF Corpsman for Special Amphibious Reconaissance Corpsman roles. Seeking sailors qualified for SARC Chief duty.
  12. I would like to see the commander have a "squad" in the game. Layout would be: Headquarters. (SL being the commander") Alpha Bravo Charlie ETC. Headquarters would be the only squads who could request pilot or crewman kits. Thus the commander is in charge of the heavy assets, and everyone inside of his "squad" would conduct supporting roles.
  13. [FDL] Freedom Legion

Hey all, my old clan Freedom Legion is recruiting, very casual group. Just looking for individuals who want to have a good time. Squad however is taken seriously, i'm heading up the squad division. Membership would require training sessions that would include basic infantry maneuvers. You would be required to learn basic column movements, Escelon Movements, and various platoon movements. As well as MOUT Training (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) If you've ever played online with me, my squad is usually named "Small Unit Tactics" If you'd like to join go ahead and post your steam name, and we'll add you to the group! We have a Teamspeak, and set up a small server to host training sessions, eventually we'd like to get large enough to do other group battles.
  14. Vehicle Recovery Winch

Love the wrecker idea, don't know how much this would affect server load though? This happens all the time, military vehicles break down constantly.
  15. I have no experience with using the number keypad for radios, so I won't comment on that. I do agree, it would be good to have a longer briefing time, to make up a plan of action.
  16. Fire team Markers

Hey all small suggestion, I was watching a video of V7 and saw the new overlay, and thought it was really cool. I was wondering if it would be possible to implement a way to "Mark" individuals in your squad. This would have no in game UI contribution, but it would allow squad leaders to divide up their squad and manage it more effectively. I know with 9 individuals running around it hard to manage. My suggestion is to allow squad leaders to place a "color marker" next to that individuals name. Only members of the squad would see these markers when looking at the "spawn screen" I've attached a picture to explain what I am referring too.
