  1. How to Not Suck With Big Vehicles

    RTB before you really think you need it Always plan your exit route from any given position and dont get yourself backed into a corner with no clear means of escape If you are 2 manning (as you should be) ensure you gunner/driver has a mic... make sure you decide who is calling the shots before you roll into action
  2. Game needs ammo carrier class... basically a runner with maybe just a pistol who can carry a limited load out of ammo from FOBS up to the guys on the front line.... Like him but with bigger balls

    I've not seen this as of yet... TBH they let you play when and where you want. The only thing they 'make' you do is be on TS when one their server to help do a bit of admin, maybe other clans are different (I dont know)

    Copy and Pasted from another thread... The problem with picking up weapons and stuff is that squad is a game and not based in reality. For it work you would have to have a system where if you die you dont respawn.... then your body stays where you died and your team mate can pick up you weapon BUT you dont magically reappear with a new one 30sec later. You cant really have it both ways as its too easy to exploit, like you could very easily end up in a situation where you have a every member of your squad with a LAT or half your team running about with GL's ... then everyone would be moaning about grenade spam. I know its pretty unrealistic but I think its just a rule that works for this game IMO... it forces you to look after your key assets.. RPG guys and medics need to be protected while your standard rifleman is the cannon fodder. There are loads of times I've run out of ammo and wished I could pick up a fallen team mates AK or M4 but you know what defending yourself with a pistol is a lot of fun!

    Im in a clan and it takes no more time than I want to give.... there are no strict rules in force, if you want to get into clan matches you can... if you wan to go to the odd training session you can but no one forces you too, its all up to you

    Ah cool... Yeah I dont think they should be able to carry load of ammo and should have to make multiple trips and prioritise what you carry They should be able to pick up rockets and/or bandages.... it would be cool if the pick was customisable.... like you could go to the ammo box and pick up any combination of stuff you need but with limited space in the bag. Sort of like DayZ... the ammo bag could have 'slots' so a rocket could take up half the slots, rifle ammo less slots... box ammo for the SAW more etc etc. Also would be nice if the SL could assign the bag to whoever they wanted in the squad...

    I'm sure I saw a post about this the other day so I'm sorry if its been discussed before.... Basically with the game coming into semi-maturity the speed of the game has slowed to a nice pace and I've noticed games lasting the full round time (like nearly 2hrs) for the first time... this is fantastic and I'm really pleased to see this happening. This evolution does pose one new issues for squads to over come. For the first time ammo and supplies are vital... we all knew this and the positioning of FOBS and ammo crates is now a central part of the game, along with the supply chain and logistics. I know the system is not yet fully implemented and we may or may not see changes in it in subsequent patches but I feel front line troops are suffering at the moment. Let me explain. Last night I'm in a squad we have been fighting our way along the northern edge of logger and are harassing the enemy advance as they try to push our FOB back off a point. We are one cap in the advance from our FOB, on the outskirts of an inactive enemy flag... they have a FOB inside and we are dealing with it while the rest of the team pulls defence and captures the next cap in the south (is PAAS) Our squad starts to run low on ammo and medical supplies our LAT guys need rounds... so the dilemma is... does the SL pull the whole squad back to the FOB to resupply and risk giving the enemy an advantage in their attack or keep us in the filed with no supplies?? In this situation I think we should be able to designate an ammo runner to grab supplies from a FOB and run them up to the guys on the front line OR be able to gab supplies of a logi truck as you could in RO. I kind of feel that last link in the supply chain is missing... I dont know, maybe as the game progresses this is something that will be fleshed out as a specialist Logi crew function?? Any thoughts... Ideas...??
