  1. As the title suggest, I just go kicked from the USA Legacy server, mid game, for a "high ping" of 264 (by squad listings). Not sure what the problem is as i'm on a high end rig, have 15mbps cable connection, and never have lag or hear complaints of it. Besides being a pissy thing to do, is this acceptable under the rules of officially licensed servers?
  2. What goes on inside some Squaddies heads?

I think ppl yell it cuz their country or team sucks, and all they have left are their empty chants. Think of it like the Gregorian chants; comforting for the simple, but ultimately meaningless.
  3. yes, psyrus. while i'm not knowledgeable about overclocking, i bought the K for when i needed to cross that bridge. thanks for reminding me.
  4. I'm looking to upgrade some components of my rig, namely a new GPU and monitor. I'm looking at at a GTX 1080 (future proof) and a 1440 monitor. I'd like to keep the cpu and mb i currently have as long as they wont cause real (noticeable in game play) bottlenecks. Any thoughts about comparability/real bottlenecks are appreciated. Also, ideas for a monitor? I'm thinking about either: ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" or Acer Predator XB271HU 27; both of which are 2560X1440, 144 Hz, IPS, G-Sync. Current rig: CPU: Intel i7-4770k 3.5GHZ GPU: AMD R9 280x MB: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H RAM: Corsair 16GB (2x8) DDR3 Pro Series Monitor: BenQ XL2420T 120Hz Power: Corsair RM 1000 Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 750D (Full Case) OS: Windows 10 64 bit (Official version)
  5. I post this cuz sometimes it's the little/non glamours things in a match that can turn the tides of a battle; and often the SL can benefit from some thoughtful initiative. Rather than just bitch about what ppl don't do, maybe its helpful to post some deeds that we feel helped our SL/team. As such, read on and post your own deeds: At the start of the match, I rode in a Humvee to the aggressively forward cap point as directed by the SL. As everyone piled out of my truck, and the accompanying logi, I silently volunteered to return the logi to the base for future runs as nobody had bothered to mention -or respond to my questions- what was to be done with it. En route, I asked the SL what he wanted done with the logi, but he didn’t reply; too busy defending the point from counter attacks. Instead of getting angry at the non-reply, I just paused the truck once it was resupplied and observed the map. I noticed one blubbery squad was placing a fob close to the next attack objective. I fired up the willing engines that responded with a roar (name that band) and went to supply it. Once there, I parked the logi at a safe distance away from the new FOO, and moved alone (recon!) to the attack objective where I found and reported the obviously-positioned enemy FOB. Still no reply from the squad lead. However, one other squad mate, who was map aware, spawned in and met me at the enemy FOB. We eventually took it down - after intense fire fights-, which helped stall their counter attacks on the defend point, and the steamroll was on. In short...support your SL, take the initiative, and focus more on your supporting deeds and a tad less on your K/D ratio or score. You'll be surprised how much fun it can be.
  6. Thank you for continuing to troll my post. It does help me call attention to the IMPORTANT AND ONGOING need for more active/anticipatory teamwork, more SL support, and less focus on KD ratio in this game. Cheers. And I agree with you; attacking/discussing the OP's character ("our hero" ) rather than evaluating their message/idea (which, by the way, is the definition of critique) he is writing about it not an argument. And shame on the OP for calling a troll a troll. Bump! Support your SL! Post your non K/D ratio heroics!
  7. kids? plural? false equivalencies are always amusing.

  9. If you really can't figure out the purpose of the OP, re read it. It's not designed for trolls.
  10. and there it is...right on cue....that idiotic/infantile misses-the-point-of-the-OP-response. applauds.

  12. How do you play music in-game?

Can't we have designated servers for this kind of infantile thinking?
