  1. On Kokan AAS v1 with RUS vs UK the bulldogs seem to be near unkillable. With side/rear shots doing little to no damage compared to the damage output of the bulldogs. The above clip doesn't illustrate the point as well as previous experiences I've had trying to kill these behemoths as they run all the way back to their main as I shoot peas into their rear. The final moments of the clip show rather well how much more damage they put out as well in comparison. It's just feels really unbalanced that the RUS side is not given a vehicle that can destroy the UK bulldogs. The only real method is to kill the gunners and watch them run back to main or let HATs and LATs work on them.
  2. As an SL, I hate the new radial menu

+1 I'd prefer the option to choose, since this is mainly a preference thing. I find myself fighting with the new system more than anything.
  3. EAC Launch error "untrusted system file"

I appear to have solved my problem with the system file xaudio2_7.dll I navigated to "C:/windows/system32/" and deleted xaudio2_7.dll and then reinstalled June 2010 Direct X runtimes located here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109
  4. EAC Launch error "untrusted system file"

Having same issue as OP, except I get immediately kicked out of any server when I join.
  5. Server Connection Closed

Same as the three guys above me, just got this issue today. Owned Squad and have played it since it first came out on Steam.
  6. something is not working for me after the hotfix

Deleted the Squad folder and it seemed to work. Thank you.
  7. something is not working for me after the hotfix

Having the exact same issue, unsure of the cause. Is the problem still happening for you? Edit: seems to be others having this problem
  8. Whether it's explosions, enemy fire or people speaking in local, the audio is extremely quiet if it's to the front or rear of my character when playing with my headset plugged in. I think I have also experienced this in ARMA 3 but I haven't been able to test it further. My guess is the front and rear directional audio isn't working for some reason. I scouered the internet for solutions but didn't come up with anything. I'll start with listing some specs: OS: Windows 10 CPU: AMD 6350 GPU: 7950 3GB Ram: 8GB Patriot Mobo: Gigabyte 970a-d3 rev 1.1 Audio Card: Sound Blaster Audigy SE (sb0570) Speakers: Logitech Z506 (5.1 speakers) Headset: Creative Aurvana Live! 2 My creative headset is plugged into my speakers, which are plugged into my sound card. I have the latest drivers for my sound card and the Z506 doesn't require any drivers. My sound is also set to 5.1 surround. I'm pretty sure on windows 7 upon plugging in my headset the audio would automatically switch to a different type of surround sound but I could be mistaken. These problems starting persisting immediately after upgrading to windows 10/when v6 came out (both occurred on the same day). I don't think squad is the culprit but if there are any people on here tech savvier than I, any help would be appreciated. Edit: To clarify: my surround sound system works fine when not used with the headset. Edit 2: Upon downloading a realtek audio driver for my motherboard and restarting my computer, the issue is no longer present. Ignore this thread!
  9. April 2016 Monthly Recap

Very cool stuff, can't wait for 4.11 to massage my amd cpu
  10. Communities opinion on VOIP Mute

I don't see why it shouldn't be added. The muting of people being unpleasant in voip would help with the nuisance of dealing with those individuals. Even though I can only recall wishing for a mute option once, not having one would be leaving out a useful tool with little to no reason for doing so.
  11. What is your CPU/GPU usage in squad? (V5)

  12. Alpha 5 Released

I have higher max fps in servers but my FPS drops a lot harder and more often.
  13. Me and a buddy seeking semi-tactical clan

Hey man, sounds like APG would be right up your alley. We're a growing community with a sole focus on squad that strives for that balance between realism and casual play. We are also currently starting to move into the competitive squad scene. Check out the site and fill out an app if you're interested!
  14. Alpha 5 Released

Excellent, hopefully with the performance improvements my AMD CPU will no longer be hurting as much :p
  15. I don't think the Devs will because there doesn't need to be a push to attract them. If women want to play Squad they will. The Devs shouldn't have to make changes to their ideas or the way they handle things to try to be more appeal to a specific group/demographic. Squad is for anyone that enjoys a semi realistic environment with heavy emphasis on team play. I basically just repeated what everyone else said but whateverrr
