    I hope they make a vehicle based map for all out armored combat and aircraft.
  5. As a player, I can appreciate a good animation system and it does add to the immersion that this game is trying to achieve. Like why is time being spent on particle effects, shockwave, lighting, and foliage collision? It all helps create the atmosphere of the game. Popping in and out of vehicles reminds me of games where everything is instant and physics didn't matter like Planetside 2, Arma, and Halo. Nothing wrong with that, but I see this game a departure from that direction.

    Oh okay, makes sense for APCs like the BTR and the Bradley. But those trans Choppers can carry at least two whole squad on those. Like those Chinooks and MI 17s. It would be interesting to see if they allowed those vehicles to carry higher capacities. It would give each team more options in terms of strategy and if they only had one trans heli, they would make sure to use it more wisely

    I think your doing great work BTR, I for one would appreciate a model that's detailed and accurately created. Especially when it comes to interiors. I just hope they add a little weathering, dirt, and equipment to make the model look lived in and we'll used. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  10. Are you guys opposed to the idea of America's Army style of ranking and training system in which you have to qualify in order to be able to use those assets? This would prevent total noobies from wasting assets, and give time to teach new players to appreciate and carefully utilize team assets. I'm not sure why the Squad community seems to be opposed to Stat tracking and Ranking as long as it it structured for teamplay and not K:D ratios and kill hoarding. It is also another way to provide useful feedback and data for the Squad Devs and Squad League when it comes to balancing.   13. Heavy Vehicles, View Distance

    I think a solid hit from TOW missiles should put a hault or stun the vehicle operations for a good couple of seconds as the tank crew would be shaken from it. And depending where you hit it, should render that specific part inoperable until it RTB for repairs. Also tank crewman should be able to be killed from the inside. The biggest threat to the tank crew would be another tank, and that should be enough to balance the game. As for the insurgent and militia factions, a better way to balance them in terms of equipment is to give them high mobility with motorbikes, techies, and (possibly)VIEDs. Give them AT mines and IEDs, at the beginning of the match insurgents can roll out in motorbikes and lay mines at critical choke points. I am a big proponent of giving those factions 2 main bases, one primary base known to the enemy and one that is randomized every match. This gives them an unpredictable attack path and time to set up ambushes.

    Is that an MTLB @1:13? I know a lot of people were surprised to see that introduced as a IFV for the Russian Faction in Squad. It'd be kinda cool to see the Artillery variant in game.

  16. I think Minimap should be available for Squad League Casters and that's it. It helps to Game Caster quickly reference squad movement and engagements and give the audience the bigger picture on the battlefield.

  23. How to suppress?

    I'm not a big fan of a heavy blur effect to achieve suppression because it is an artificial game mechanic. The blurring effect seems fine right now, bullet impacts can kick up dust and explosions can have a deaffening effect to inpare the enemy's ability to return fire. I think a better system can be achieved in Squad. The "fear" should be a legitimate fear of getting hit and the penalties of actually getting hit i.e. loss of stamina, flinching, increased weapon sway, or leg hits forcing you to move slowly. Just one single LMG firing is never enough to achieve effective suppression it takes a whole squad opening up to gain fire supiority. Once emplacements and bipods are in the game, more accurate suppression can be achieved.
